37 Turkey Point FL Turkey Point NOUE. BRC was notified of an Unusual Event at 12:36 am on 11/19/15. Unit 3 experienced a LOOP (loss of off-site power) due to lockout of Unit 3 startup transformer. The first Emergency Diesel Generator failed to start, however the second generator auto started and supplied 4KV bus to Unit 3. 36
38 St. Lucie FL St. Lucie NOUE. At 6:03 pm on 01/09/14, St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant declared a Notification of Unusual Event emergency. The cause of the declaration was due to flooding in a protected area due to heavy rains. (EAL: HU1, natural or destructive phenomena affecting protected area.) The emergency was terminated at 12:01 am on 01/10/14 after the water had receded. 37
