This Addendum becomes a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Contract Documents dated July 2015 as noted below: This Addendum consists of two page and SECTION I. CHANGES TO PROJECT MANUAL: A. SECTION AGREEMENT 1. REVISE Paragraph 1.1.A.1 to read as follows: AIA A , Standard form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor where Basis of Payment is Stipulated Sum, as amended, and B , Standard Form of Architect s Services: Design and Construction Contract Administration, as amended and AIA A , General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, as amended. B. SECTION HARDWARE 1. Add this section in its entirety as attached to this addendum. C. SECTION QUALITY REQUIREMENTS 1. REVISE Paragraph 1.8.A. to read as follows: Employ and pay for services of an independent testing agency or laboratory meeting requirements specified in Section Testing Laboratory Services. D. Product Data: 1. Provide product data on specified hardware. 2. Submit manufacturer's parts lists, templates, and installation instructions. 3. Provide wiring diagrams, electrical characteristics, and product data on all electrically controlled devices. B. Hardware Schedule: 1. Include for each item: Quantities; manufacturer's name and catalog numbers; sizes; detail information or catalog cuts; finishes; door and frame size and materials; location and hardware set identification using same opening numbers as indicated on HARDWARE

5 the drawings; lock trim material thicknesses; lock trim material evaluation test results; corresponding ANSI/ BHMA standard type number or function number from manufacturer's catalog if not covered by ANSI/BHMA; and list of abbreviations. 2. Indicate locations and mounting heights of each type of hardware. 3. Indicate lock side of single cylinder doors. 4. Include master cross-reference list indicating door numbers in numerical sequence and associated hardware set. a. If, for any reason, any door is moved from the hardware set indicated in the schedule at the end of this section, provide a master cross-reference list, in numerical sequence, indicating door number, original hardware set and new hardware set for every opening. C. Keying Schedule: 1. Hold a keying conference with the Owner or Owner's representative to develop a keying schedule. 2. Develop schedule in accordance with DHI Obtain keying system approval before delivering hardware to project. 4. Unless otherwise indicated or requested, provide keying as follows: a. Key all doors different and key all doors to the same room alike. b. Key all exterior doors alike. c. Master key all doors except mechanical room doors to one key. d. Key mechanical room doors to existing utilities master key system. D. Certificates of Compliance: 1. Submit certificates of compliance attesting that hardware items conform to the NFPA, CFR and ANSI/ BHMA standards specified. 2. Fire Rated Doors: Submit certificates of compliance, attesting that doors which are indicated, scheduled, or specified to be fire rated are fitted with the required hardware (i.e., active latch bolts, self-closing devices) and operate in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 80 and 101. Identify all such doors on certificates. E. Closeout Submittals: 1. Submit in accordance with Section Provide list of actual locations of installed cylinders and their master key code. 3. Submit data on operating hardware, lubrication requirements adjustment methods and inspection procedures related to preventative maintenance. 4. Furnish spare parts data, including a complete list of parts and supplies and source of supply, for locksets, exit devices, closers, electronic locking devices and electromagnetic closer holder release devices. 5. Submit special tools required for hardware adjustment or control. 6. Maintenance Instructions: Furnish 6 complete copies of maintenance instructions listing routine maintenance procedures, possible breakdowns and repairs, and troubleshooting guides. 1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING A. Deliver, store, and handle hardware to site in accordance with provisions of Section B. Individually package each article of hardware in manufacturer's standard commercial carton or container, and properly mark or label to be readily identifiable with approved hardware schedule. C. Tag or otherwise identify each change key with door for which its cylinder is intended HARDWARE

6 1.6 COORDINATION A. Coordinate requirements for hardware to be mounted on metal doors or metal frames between hardware manufacturer and door or frame manufacturer to establish location, reinforcement required, size of holes, and similar details. 1.7 WARRANTY A. Provide twenty-five year warranty for door closers. 1.8 EXTRA MATERIAL A. Blank keys: Provide 50 total. B. Provide extra cylinder cores as scheduled. PART 2 - PRODUCTS 2.1 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS A. Regardless of whether or not the HARDWARE SCHEDULE at the end of this section has every door and every component scheduled for each opening, provide all components required to make every opening functional based on hardware scheduled for similar openings and the referenced codes. B. Locksets: 1. Locksets shall be T-Zone Line construction as manufactured by Sargent & Company. 2. Furnish locksets compatible with specified cylinders. 3. Furnish standard strikes with extended lips to protect trim from being marred by latch bolt. Match cutouts provided in metal frames. a. Mortise Locksets: ANSI A156.13, Series 1000, Grade 1 unless otherwise indicated. b. Bored (Cylindrical) Locksets: 1) ANSI A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 1 unless otherwise indicated. 2) Typical 2-3/4 inch backset. c. Mount centerline of exit devices on doors containing door lites approximately at 38-1/2. b. Coordinate with door manufacturer. Lower the centerline of the exit device if needed to locate the exit device below the door lite frame. c. With approval from the Architect, provide manufacturer s standard filler to extend exit device beyond door lite frames where door lites extend below exit device. Factory cut or form filler to match profile of exit device trim. E. Access Control Locks: 1. Access Control Locks to be Trilogy Networx series as manufactured by Alarm Lock of Amityville, NY. 2. Locks shall conform to ANSI A156 Grade 1 3. Provide configuration of lock as required by hardware group: 1) Cylindrical Lock Type: (a) Proximity/keypad - Model Series PDL6100. F. Programming: 1. All programming, including user credentials, scheduling and audit trail retrieval, shall be performed using Alarm Lock DL-Windows software version 4.1.9x or higher. 2. Communication of all programming from computer containing software to locks shall be through Alarm Lock Gateway model appropriate for building s network system. a. Gateway: 1) Ethernet connected gateway - Model Series AL-IME. 2) Power over Ethernet connected gateway, plenum rated - Model Series AL-IMEPOEP. 3) Wi-FI connected gateway - Model Series AL-IM G. Lock Features: 1. Locks, except keypad switch type, to be battery powered by 4 each C size batteries providing 5 year life under normal operating conditions. 2. Locks to support up to 5000 users with 3-6 digit numeric PIN code, or HID format proximity credential, or both for dual credential requirement. 3. Locks to support up to 500 event schedules. 4. Locks to support in non-volatile memory 35,000 event audit trail. 5. Locks to be weatherproof for indoor or outdoor use in operating temperature range of -31 to +151 degrees Fahrenheit. 6. Locks shall continue to operate as last instructed including maintaining schedules and audit trail, independent of building network system failure. 7. Locks shall be capable of providing a system-wide global emergency lockdown/ unlock within 10 seconds when initiated by authorized user from any lock, or from the DL-Windows software. 8. Locks shall adjust schedules automatically to correspond with daylight savings time. 9. Locks shall have remote release capability through hard-wired connection HARDWARE

9 10. Locks shall have a single pole, double throw relay output to provide external functions through hard-wired connection. H. Gateway Features: 1. Each gateway shall support up to 63 locks. 2. Each gateway to communicate to software through the building s network system. a. Ethernet connected gateway: 1) Interface: Ethernet 10Base-T or 100Base-TX. 2) Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DHCP. b. Wi-Fi connected gateway: 1) Wireless standards: IEEE b; g. 2) Frequency range: GHz. 3) Output power: 14 dbm dbm/-1.0 dbm. 4) Maximum receive level: -10dBm (with PER <8%). 5) Data rates with automatic fallback: 54Mbps - 1Mbps. 6) Range: up to 328 feet indoors. 7) Modulation techniques: OFDM, DSSS, CCK, DQPSK, DBPSK, 64 QAM, 16 QAM. 8) Interface: b, g, and 10/100 Ethernet. 9) Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DHCP. c. Security: IEEE PSK with 128-bit AES Rijndael Encryption. 3. Each gateway to communicate to locks through 900 MHz GFSK proprietary 128-bit encryption: a. 50 channels. b. 10mW power output. 4. Environment: a. Indoor installation. b. Operating temperature: -4 to +140 degrees Fahrenheit. I. Software: 1. Software to be Alarm Lock DL-Windows supporting 2000 locks per system account with a maximum of 50 gateways per system account. J. Security Mode: 1. Security is the essence of this section. Unless otherwise required by code, wireless operated hardware shall remain secured in the event of power failure. Normal operation will require battery power to operate the Networx locks. Emergency mechanical key override shall be provided in the event of battery failure (except for keypad only unit). The Networx lock will function mechanically with its corresponding hardware and will in no way affect the egress at any door. K. Registration of Codes and Credentials/Security Management: 1. All codes and/or credentials for Networx locks shall be recorded by the DL-Windows software-based program specific to the building site. 2. Every code and/or credential issued by the owner shall be entirely unique to that user to whom it is issued. Cards and fobs identified and protected by type and facility code. 3. Wireless networked door access control system will allow for remote door programming and audit trail retrieval and providing all standalone lock functionality plus network-wide global emergency lockdown/unlock commands. Communication is a secure 128bit AES PC encryption and proprietary RF-link lock-to-gateway encryption. 4. System to provide for audit trail of 40,000 events/lock and up to 500 lock/unlock schedules with time zone support HARDWARE

10 5. System to be managed from a single computer utilizing the DL-Windows software 4.1.9X version or higher. 6. Provide construction codes to the contractor during the building s construction period. 7. Construction codes shall self-disable at a specified time and date and shall not require any physical modification of the lock or cylinder. 8. In the event the construction period is longer or shorter than originally planned, locks shall be re-programmable to conform to the schedule change. 9. Wireless locks to be fully keypad programmable. L. Closers: 1. Closers for outswinging exterior doors: Size one size larger than manufacturer's published recommendations, but not less than size Size requirements for other closers: Conform to manufacturer's published recommendations, except as specified otherwise. 3. Operating Pressure: Provide closers with maximum operating pressure as follows: a. Interior Doors: Set closing force on doors accessible to the physically handicapped for a push-pull of 5 pounds applied at knob or handle. b. Exterior Doors: Maximum 8.5 pounds. c. Fire Rated Doors: Set to minimum required to relatch door. M. Protection Plates: 1. Conformance: ANSI A156.6, category J Fabrication. 3. Size: a. Width: 2 inches less in width than door width for single doors and 1 inch less for pairs of doors. b. Height: 1) Armor Plates: 36 inches. 2) Kick Plates: 10 inches except where bottom rail is less than 10 inches, extend plate extend to within 1/2-inch of panel mold or glass bead. 3) Mop Plates: 4 inches. N. Door Edge Guards: 1. Conformance: ANSI A156.6, category J200, non-mortise type. 2. Fabrication: Fabricate from inch thick vinyl, factory adhesive backed with peel off protective paper. O. Miscellaneous: 1. Metal Thresholds: a. Conformance: ANSI A b. Style: shall be as indicated on drawings. c. Where required, modify thresholds to receive projecting bolts of flush bolts and exit devices. d. Thresholds for doors accessible to handicapped: Raised thresholds, corrugated, beveled with slopes not exceeding 1:2, and with height not exceeding 1/2-inch. Bevel not required where height is less than 1/2-inch. P. Accessories: 1. Special Tools: Provide special tools such as spanner and socket wrenches and dogging keys, required to adjust hardware items. Q. Fastenings: 1. Provide proper type, size, quantity, and finish with each article of hardware. 2. Concrete or Grout Filled Masonry: Provide machine screws and expansion shields. 3. Hollow Masonry: Provide resin filled screen anchors equal to Hilti C7 anchors HARDWARE

11 4. Gypsum Wallboard: Provide nylon or derlin expansion anchors equal to Hilti Togglers. 5. Fastenings exposed to weather and in finished work: brass, bronze, or stainless steel. 6. Provide one-way or tamperproof screws on exterior doors equipped with half or full surface hinges. R. Fire Door Hardware: 1. Conform to requirements of NFPA 80 and NFPA 101. S. Finishes: 1. Painting of primed surfaces: Specified in Division 9 - Painting. 2. Plated or Exposed Metal: As indicated in HARDWARE SCHEDULE at end of this Section. T. Keying: 1. Establish a new Factory Key System. 2. Key locks in sets or subsets. 3. Furnish locks with the manufacturer's standard construction cores. 4. Send keys directly from lock manufacturer to Owner by registered mail or other approved means. 5. Supply keys in following quantities: a. 2 keys for each lock. b. 6 master keys. c. 3 grand master keys. d. 3 great grand master keys. e. 6 construction keys. f. 4 control keys. 6. Furnish keys to Owner arranged in a container for key control system storage in sets or subsets as scheduled. PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.1 INSPECTION A. Verify that doors and frames are ready to receive work and dimensions are as indicated on shop drawings. B. Verify that power supply is available to power operated devices. C. Beginning of installation means acceptance of existing conditions. 3.2 INSTALLATION A. General: 1. Locate in accordance with DHI 04 and DHI 05 recommended Locations for Builders' Hardware for Standard Steel Doors and Frames and DHI Recommended Locations for Builders' Hardware for Custom Steel Doors and Frames. 2. Install in accordance with DHI Coordinate mounting height of exit devices with door lites. 4. When approved, slight variations in locations or dimensions will be permitted. 5. Attach door control devices for exterior doors such as closers and holders to doors with thru bolts such as sex bolts and nuts. 6. Armor Plates: Where scheduled, install on push side of single-acting doors and on both sides of double-acting doors. 2. Kick Plates: Where scheduled, install on push side of single-acting doors and on both sides of double-acting doors. F. Door Edgings: 1. Install on stop face of butt edge of door unless otherwise scheduled. G. Auxiliary Hardware: 1. Install lever extension flush bolts at top and bottom of inactive leaf of pairs of doors. 2. Install dust-proof floor strike or threshold, cut-out for bottom bolt. H. Thresholds: 1. Install in a bed of sealant with stainless steel screws and expansion shields. 2. Provide proper clearance and an effective seal with specified weather stripping. 3. Minimum screw size: #10, length dependent on job conditions. I. Weatherseals: 1. Locate as indicated, snug to door face and fastened in place with color matched metal screws after door and frames have been finish painted. 2.
