2 Steps to take in case of a Situation that could threaten the Chamber, in order of increased threat. 1. Remove furniture from front patio. 2. Lock patio door, put up Patio Closed sign 3. Lock front entrance of the Chamber and place sign to use the Lobby door to direct traffic past building security guard 4. Order extra security guard just for Chamber security with CEO or CFO approval 5. Lock internal door, offices first floor glass doors. 6. Turn off street facing Signage screens 7. If necessary chain front door (long term power failure) Building Phone numbers: Security guard cell phone Emergency after hour issues, dial (704) for Grubb Properties Emergency Procedure for Building Incursion 1. Receptionist or other Staff member hits panic button, uses intercom, Staff wide Activate Punch Alert 3. Staff to respond to Alert. a. Contact building security and police b. Secure all doors if possible c. Secure front stair case if possible d. Come to aid in lobby if possible e. Evacuate the building if necessary i. Use evacuation routes on floor plan, back stairs and exits if safe ii. Meet in Romare Bearden Park, near waterfall if safe f. Go to safe rooms if necessary g. Check in on text, phone, to your supervisor to report your location and status 4. Wait for police to arrive

4 2. Punch Alert App on Mobile Devices 3. Fail Safe lock button located at front desk (located on right side of desk, see attached photo) a. Toggles lock on front door. 4. Evacuation Plan with floor plan and escape routes and safe rooms show stairs and exits, like fire alarm don t use elevators. (see attached floor plan and map) 5. Access door control a. First level, access, FOB or mobile phone app access though Building owners doors and elevators. b. Second level, cyber locks on Chamber access doors. c. Third level, tiered level keys to offices or office space. 6. Camera and video monitoring a. Building owners (Grubb Properties) have camera around perimeter of building including the parking deck b. Chamber Camera in first floor lobby. 7. Safe rooms (one on each floor) a. First floor safe room is the catering kitchen b. Second floor safe room is the file room. See floor plans for more detailed locations of safe rooms. Each room contains a. Door brace b. Trauma first aid kit c. Fire Extinguisher 8. Codes over intercom a. Attention staff, Code Support. This will alert staff in Economic Development/Research to come to her aid, gather the security guard, and/or call 911 for the police. A few staff members on the second floor should stand guard at the top of the stairs to keep the intruder contained to the street level until help arrives. 9. Lobby security guard, cell phone number, use other door sign, do not cross tape, rent a guard for lobby with COO, CEO or CFO approval and Grubb properties will supply extra security and extra hours of security if necessary. 10. 8 Romare Bearden Park, near waterfall Meeting Spot Exit Building to the rear as shown on diagram, if safe. Use stairs instead of elevator, as in a fire. Threats will most likey will be from the front of the building. Safe rooms and exits are located in the rear of the building away from possible threat. Exiting the building in the rear will also lead you away from tall building, glass walls, and other targets located in front of our building.
