Celebrating Our History Who We Are The Pioneer Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the grand opening of the ADEMCO Alarm Security Museum.

We are thrilled to welcome you here today as we share our history with our customers, employees and visitors.

Sevinor has a genuine passion for the security industry, a long-standing interest in the history of ADEMCO and supports our mission to teach others about our rich legacy.

2 Celebrating Our History Who We Are The Pioneer Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the grand opening of the ADEMCO Alarm Security Museum. Our museum houses a unique collection that traces the development of alarm systems from 1929 up until the dawning of advanced forms of security communications in the early 2000 s. We are thrilled to welcome you here today as we share our history with our customers, employees and visitors. Special Thanks Today we also celebrate the generosity of Ralph Sevinor, an individual who has graciously donated the majority of the security products to our museum. Mr. Sevinor has a genuine passion for the security industry, a long-standing interest in the history of ADEMCO and supports our mission to teach others about our rich legacy. Ralph Sevinor Originally founded by entrepreneur Maurice Coleman in 1929 as a sideline to his Brooklyn-based Progress Electric Co., the Alarm Device Manufacturing Company (ADEMCO) would eventually emerge as one of the most trusted, recognized and well-respected names in the security industry. Coleman s keen business sense and dedication to customer service gave the company it s competitive edge. Years later, those values would continue to be reflected as the company became part of Honeywell. The Innovator A true visionary, Leo Guthart could see the big picture when it came to security and the future of ADEMCO. His own first-hand understanding as an entrepreneur, coupled with an uncanny ability to predict trends, led Guthart to become the architect of the modern ADEMCO. Under his leadership, ADEMCO would adapt to the challenges in a fast-paced business climate, embrace the ever-changing world of technology and grow into an international powerhouse with products protecting millions of homes and businesses across the world. Model 111 Vintage Car and Truck Alarm ADEMCO photocells were an early attempt to eliminate false alarms. 618 Dialer Programmer Early communicators relied on tape dialers, which incorporated a magnetic tape that ran in a continuous loop enabling the user to program a phone number and voice message. The 618 Dialer Programmer was used to record these tapes in a booth, where someone would program the phone numbers and record a message (i.e. 218 Main Street has been burglarized ). 4 The mid-1980s marked the era where ADEMCO would launch its very first line of wireless products. The first solutions introduced were the Alert II 5600 Series and the Alert III 5700 Series. 7622CD Network Radio ADEMCO acquired Sontrix in the late 1970s. ADEMCO and Sontrix both designed ultrasonic motion detectors, which emitted high frequency sound in a range above human hearing. The ADEMCO 351 Ultrasonic Intrusion Detector operated at around 40,000 Hz.
