With an install time of less than 15 minutes per location, the Pharos Tower truly is a rapid deploy solution. Designed in a number 7 style to provide a high quality, sturdy base for temporary CCTV. 14 SharpView Manager Professional displays all video formats, high quality MJPEG video can be viewed alongside low bandwidth MPEG4 and H.264 with all resolutions supported. Events received from Access Control, Fire Alarms, Motion sensors and intercoms can all be managed alongside CCTV. Security personnel can be alerted to specific events and have confidence in their system to carry out responses to alarms. The user interface is configurable and subject to bandwidth, unlimited number of users can use SharpView Manager simultaneously from multiple sites. The PIR uses sophisticated signal processing and optics to minimise nuisance alarms caused by the sun, shadows and reflections as well as loose fluttering materials. Battery life is around two years battery life which is achieved by a special regulator that maintains optimum performance while the batteries are running down. Day light and thermal sensors provide automatic compensation in varying climate conditions and there is a shock sensor for detecting physical attack as well as a sensor for anti-masking (cloak). Supervision is achieved by periodic polling to the receiver whilst reporting battery condition, lens type, sensitivity settings and software version. These PIRs have additional features: Infra Red anti-masking, 3 axis acceleration sensor and twin dual element pyroelectric sensors with mirror/lens optics. There is the additional feature of AB logic to provide extra filtering. For maximum sensitivity, an alarm is generated if either zones A or B are crossed but for an extra degree of filtering an alarm can only be generated is A followed by B or B followed by A is crossed. These perimeter intrusion detection systems have a proven track record for the protection of all types of risk from normal commercial risks from; industrial estates, factories, garages and warehouses to military and Government premises, prisons and CNI sites (Critical National Infrastructure). FenceDetect perimeter intrusion detection systems provide zone alarm outputs for integration with CCTV and other remote monitoring technologies. The piezoelectric sensor cable is applied to the fabric or structure being protected. This is generally done by installing the sensor cable in a conduit which is securely fixed to the wall, roof or floor being protected. The detection range of the sensor cable will pick up audible signals and vibrations generated during an attack or attempt to penetrate the protected barrier / wall. The noises and vibrations are transmitted to the seismic analyser for analysis and detection. The seismic analyser detection channels are programmed to identify the signals created by noises and vibrations during intrusion and attempts to penetrate the protected surface. The basis of the system is a 2.4 metre high security mesh fencing system (HiSec, HiSec Super or ArmaWeave recommended), which creates a physical security barrier. (2.4 metres above ground and 300mm below for anti-burrow). The FenceDetect perimeter intrusion detection system is applied to the high security mesh fence and set up to detect cutting / climbing and penetrating of the security fence. A 1.2 metre high FencePulse protector enhanced electrified topping is applied to the top of the security fence as an impenetrable anti-climb deterrent and detection topping system. 26 Galvanising All of our posts, gates and panels are galvanised, with the majority of our steelwork receiving a hot-dip galvanised finish to BS EN 1461:1999. Hot dip galvanising guarantees maximum protection, with a minimum of 50 years corrosion resistance*. It is a dipping process in which fluid zinc alloys to the steel surface. The zinc will penetrate all recesses and open hollow surfaces. In order to achieve this with hollow tubes like posts and gate frames, they are vented which means that the zinc can flow inside the tube hence a protective zinc coating is not only applied to the outside of the steel work but to the inside as well. Prior to dipping, the steel work goes through 8 stages of pretreatment. Firstly this involves 6 acid tanks of increasing strength, which degrease the surface and remove impurities. The steel is then rinsed in an iron free water before being initially heated to 75 in the flux tank, which will evaporate all water from the steel. The steel is then dipped in the zinc tank, during which a flux solution is sprayed on to help the zinc flow over the metal. The galvanised metal is then carefully removed from the tank at a specific angle, to help the excess zinc flow off. The metalwork is then cooled in water prior to fettling if required. Powder Coating Polyester Powder coating is a complex organic colour layer available as an option on all of our fencing products. The process offers an extended life for the fence and gives it a bright colour coating, available in over 60 standard colours and over 1000 non-standard colours in both the RAL and British Standard ranges. Zaun s powder coatings meet the requirements of BS 6497 which include subjecting the galvanised steel to a multi-stage pre-treatment prior to the organic powder coating being applied. This pre-treatment ensures that our coatings offer the highest level of performance on the market.
