2 Due 23 March 2015 ANSI E Unidirectional Transport of IEEE 802 data frames over ANSI E1.11 (DMX512-A) (withdrawal) This standard defines a minimal method to transport IEEE 802 data frames unidirectionally over ANSI E1.11 physical links in entertainment lighting control networks using an Alternate START Code. Several patents have been issued that protect technology essential to the standard, which has prompted the motion to withdraw the standard. The event will run on Wednesday through Friday, 22 through 24 April 2015, at Gatwick Manor, Lowfield Heath, just south of Gatwick Airport in the UK. The venue is readily accessible from the UK and Europe, but the event is open to companies from anywhere, including Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific. If it is not convenient for a manufacturer to send its own development staff, it is suggested that a local technical representative could participate and provide feedback on the interoperability of the manufacturer's products. Due 31 March 2015 EN Spectator facilities - Safety Management This European standard specifies general characteristics regarding infrastructure and safety management in spectator facilities. It specifies the layout and the planning of the management, the criteria to maintain this planning before, during and after any event. It covers the following: the safety personnel; Safety Policy A document developed, reviewed and monitored by the event organiser or senior management; Safety Procedures An operational and emergency plan, containing roles and responsibilities, staffing levels, risk assessments, medical provisions and contingencies. PD IEC/TR Live working - Voltage detectors - Part 6: Guidelines on non-contact voltage detectors (NCVD) for use at nominal voltages above 1 kv a.c.c This Technical Report is applicable to portable non-contact voltage detectors (NCVD) with built-in power source, to be used to indicate the presence or the absence of the operating voltage on electrical systems for nominal voltages above 1 kv a.c. and frequencies of 16 2/3 Hz, 50 Hz and/or 60 Hz. ISO Photography - Archiving systems - Vocabulary This International Standard defines terms used in the area of imaging system capability qualification for archival recording and approval. ISO Photography - Digital cameras - Lateral chromatic displacement measurement This International Standard specifies the definition of chromatic displacement for digital still cameras, test patterns, measurement conditions and methods, so as to enable the comparison of the results of measurement. The methods of measurement are designed to enable the assessment of the performance of digital still cameras by using image data output by the digital still cameras. This standard does not specify the allowable amount of chromatic displacement. Due 4 April 2015 EN ISO Acoustics - Hearing protectors Part 2: Estimation of effective A-weighted sound pressure levels when hearing protectors are worn This part of ISO 4869 describes three methods (the octave-band, HML and SNR methods) of estimating the A-weighted sound pressure levels effective when hearing protectors are worn. The methods are applicable to Volume 19, Number 5 Page 5

6 either the sound pressure level or the equivalent continuous sound pressure level of the noise. Although primarily intended for steady noise exposures, the methods are also applicable to noises containing impulsive components. These methods may not be suitable for use with peak sound pressure level measurements. The octave-band, H, M, L or SNR values are suitable for establishing sound attenuation criteria for selecting or comparing hearing protectors, and/or setting minimum acceptable sound attenuation requirements. Due 9 April 2015 ISO/IEC Software engineering - Software product Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE) - Metrics for external quality This International Standard defines quality measures for quantitatively measuring system and software product quality in terms of characteristics and subcharacteristics defined in ISO/IEC 25010, and is intended to be used together with ISO/IEC It can be used in conjunction with the ISO/IEC 2503n Software product quality requirements division or ISO/IEC 2504n Software product quality evaluation division standards or to more generally meet user information needs. This International Standard contains: an explanation of how to apply software and computer system quality measures a basic set of quality measures for each characteristic and subcharacteristics It includes as informative annexes considerations for the use of quality measures (Annex A), a recommended set of general QMEs (Annex B) and an explanation of measurement types (Annex C). Due 19 April 2015 ISO The Human-centred Organization - Rationale and General Principles ISO describes to executive board members the values and beliefs that make an organization humancentred, the significant business benefits that can be achieved, what policies they need to put in place to achieve this, and the risks for the organization of not being human-centred. The document sets out high level human centred principles, which executive board members should endorse in order to optimize performance, minimize human-based risk, maximize wellbeing in their organization and enhance their relationships with customers. The importance of organisational policy to address human-centred risks is emphasized. This International Standard is not a management system standard. It is not intended or appropriate for certification purposes or regulatory or contractual use. ISO 26101:2012+A1 Acoustics - Test methods for the qualification of free-field environments - Amendment 1 Amendments are being proposed to Section 1 and Figure B.1, Microphone positions on the spherical surface for test sound source directionality measurements. EN ISO 3745:2012+A1 Acoustics - Determination of sound power levels and sound energy levels of noise sources using sound pressure - Precision methods for anechoic rooms and hemi-anechoic rooms - Amendment 1 The performance of an anechoic or hemi-anechoic room is tested by comparing the spatial decrease of sound pressure emitted from a test sound source with the decrease of sound pressure that would occur in an ideal free sound field. The evaluation of this performance is based on the procedures outlined in ISO 26101:2012 and ISO 26101:2012/Amd.1: on Test methods for the qualification of free field environments. The complaints-handling process described is suitable for use as one of the processes of an overall quality management system. This International Standard is not applicable to disputes referred for resolution outside the organization or for employment-related disputes. It is intended for use by organizations of all sizes and in all sectors. Annex A provides guidance specifically for small businesses. This standard also provides performance requirements for complementary equipment and measures (see clause 12), safe work procedures (see clause 11), and safety functions (see clause 6).
