2 Project Title: Tolerance of container-grown Flowering Dogwood, Spirea, Rhododendron and Arborvitae to (imazasulfuron). Although the normal rate (1X) of caused minor injury to flowering dogwood, spirea and arborvitae with one application, the 2X rate caused moderate injury to most plants. A second application at the 2X rate caused unacceptable injury to all plants. Of the four species, rhododendron Chinoides was the most susceptible to V Even a single application at the 1X rate caused unacceptable injury to rhododendron. 1

In the absence of rainfall, plants were irrigated daily. 4
