We have Phrags and Paphs, priced to move. Now is a great time to restock your seedling area with some exciting species and unique hybrids. The Phrags are super vigorous, and will be ready for 2" pots 6 months after deflasking! Not only have we have been pleased with the quality of the flasks that our labs produce, but also with the quality, health and fast growth of the seedlings, once they are planted out. Flasks and community pots (compots) move quickly, and new flasks arrive almost every month. Due to the dynamic nature and relatively short "shelf-life" of flasks, these offers may be withdrawn at any time. Seedlings may be shipped out of flask (except foreign orders) to prevent damage from jumbling inside the flasks. If in flask shipping is desired, shipping costs may increase (actual cost) and no guarantee may be made that the seedlings will arrive undamaged. EPIDENDRUMS WSO 5563 chlorops ( Woodstream CHM/AOS x self) (Mexico) Rare Mexican species that is one of our favorites. Here is the real thing/ Mating two pre- CITES jungle-collected cultivars. Medium size yellow flowers. 10 WSO 5338 sargentianum ( Summit x self) Commanding species now rare in cultivation. Parent of many famous hybrids including Sargent Eric, Sorcerer s Apprentice, and Memoria Dick Clements. Impressive tall branched inflorescence that remains in bloom for months. The parent is beautiful! Easy! Fast-growing. 5 flasks available, 8-9 seedlings per flask. $25 each WSO 5340 Manzur la Aldea flavum Ghost Report x Castle Rock Creek Unexpected AD/AOS Breeding for white Phrags. Few to be released. Manzur la Aldea is manzurii x besseae flavum and Ghost Report is almost white. Castle Rock Creek is Saint Ouen flavum x Mingoville Sunset and Unexpected received an Award of Distinction for being a new line in breeding pure white flowers (which it has). Here we are looking for medium sized pale-yellow to white flowers with pink highlights on compact plants. 12 WSO 5380 Augres flavum Penns View AM/AOS x Castle Rock Creek Unexpected AD/AOS No secret we are working toward white Phrags. This cross raises the bar, with potential to move to a larger flowered white Phrag. The Augres is one of our most important breeders and originated at the Eric Young Orchid Foundation on Jersey in the Channel Isles off the coast of England. Augres is a prolific grower and flowers multiple times a year, often with branched inflorescences. Its paleyellow blooms have just the vaguest salmon highlights. Castle Rock Creek is Saint Ouen flavum x Mingoville Sunset and Unexpected received an Award of Distinction for being a new line in breeding pure white flowers (which it has).
