4 PRECISION ROOF CONSULTING, LLC PO BOX LONGWOOD, FL Cause & Origin: Storm (wind) damage found on the Northwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest facing roof slopes. No reported interior leaks. Observations: - The subject property is a single-family detached home that faces Northwest. - No reported interior leaks. As such, an interior inspection was not performed. - A ground-level inspection was performed to find collateral evidence of hail having fallen at the property. No collateral evidence of hail was found. - All accessible roof slopes were inspected and photographed. - Overall, the roof shingles were in poor condition with minimal to moderate granule loss. - A roof-level inspection was performed on the vents and soft metal to find collateral evidence of hail having fallen at the property. No collateral evidence of hail was found. - Storm (wind) damage found consistent with the reported date of loss were visible (creased shingles were marked with yellow chalk by Universal Roof & Contractor) on the following slopes: Northwest facing roof slope: 29 creased shangles Northeast facing roof slope: 3 creased shangles Southeast facing roof slope: 32 creased and 3 missing shangles Southwest facing roof slope: 3 creased shangles - A test for repairability was not performed due to the discontinuity of the CertainTeed Horizon Shangle shingle line. No reported roof leaks at the time of inspection. Repair Recommendations: Storm (wind) damage found. Recommend replacement due to storm (wind) damage exceeding 25% of the total roof covering.
