11 Semi-Conductive Screening Compounds We offer peroxide cross-linkable semi-conductive screening compounds for MV power cables. XLPE or EPR insulated power cables produced with our fully bonded conductor/insulation or strippable insulation screening compounds will meet international cable requirements.

12 Silane-Based Thermoplastic Vulcanisates Based on novel silane chemistry applied in Thermoplastic Vulcanisates (TPV), Falcone Specialities AG patent EP A was published on the 11 November Our newly developed products combine elastic properties of a vulcanized rubber with the processing properties of thermoplastics. Main applications are in automotive, cables, electronics, sports and leisure, packaging, appliances and construction. TPV offers a combination of elastomeric properties, like compression and tension set, coupled with aging performance and chemical resistance. In addition to a relatively low density (or specific gravity), TPVs can be used to reduce the weight of flexible systems and parts.
