5 Products Description (1) Stick Curtain Walling System The vast majority of curtain walls are installed long pieces (referred to as sticks) between floors vertically and between vertical members horizontally. Framing members may be fabricated in a factory, but all installation and glazing is typically performed at the jobsite. 6 Products Description (2) Semi-unitized Curtain Walling System Semi-unitized curtain walling (the second generation products) is a kind of curtain walling system which is between stick curtain walling system and unitized curtain walling system, with combined advantages and features. Its basic structural principle is to fabricate other curtain walling components with the exception of main keels, to assembly them into unitized panel, and then to deliver them to construction site for purpose of being fixed on main keels. Compared with regular structural member type curtain walling system, semi unitized curtain walling system has many predominant advantages in terms of bunch production, accuracy degree and quality for fabrication and installation, and repair and maintenance, etc.. 4

7 Products Description (3) Fully unitized Curtain Walling System The third generation products - Fully unitized curtain walling entails factory fabrication and assembly of panels and may include factory glazing. These completed units are hung on the building structure to form the building enclosure. Unitized curtain wall has the advantages of: speed; lower field installation costs; and quality control within an interior climate controlled environment. The economic benefits are typically realized on large projects or in areas of high field labor rates. And the unitized curtain walling includes Sideslip Style Unitized Curtain Walling System and Horizontal Locked Unitized Curtain Walling System. 5

8 Products Description (4) Double-skin Curtain Walling System The Double-skin curtain walling system is the forth generation product, and it is a system of building consisting of two skins placed in such a way that air flows in the intermediate cavity. The ventilation of the cavity can be natural, fan supported or mechanical. Apart from the type of the ventilation inside the cavity, the origin and destination of the air can differ depending mostly on climatic conditions, the use, the location, the occupational hours of the building and the HVAC strategy. The glass skins can be single or double glazing units with a distance from 20 cm up to 2 metres. Usually, for protection and heat extraction reasons during the cooling period, solar shading devices are placed inside the cavity. 6

The composited of tradictional curtain walling system and photovoltaic glazing pannels. The system could make the building becoming a gaint power plant, and the photovoltaic galzing could increasing the Shading Coefficient of the curtain walling system. Usually this kind of product is used in the southern and western elevation (at the Northern Hemisphere) to prevent the sunshine into room, at the other hand, the pohotovolatic glazing could gain enough sunshine to generate power. 7

Mental Pannel Curtain Walling System Metal panels can take various forms including aluminum plate; thin composite panels consisting of two thin aluminum sheets sandwiching a thin plastic interlayer; copper wall cladding, and panels consisting of metal sheets bonded to rigid insulation, with or without an inner metal sheet to create a sandwich panel. 11 Products Description B. Stone Pannel Curtain Walling System Thin blocks (25 50 mm) of stone can be inset within a curtain wall system to provide architectural flavor. The type of stone used is limited only by the strength of the stone and the ability to manufacture it in the proper shape and size. Common stone types used are: Arriscraft (calcium silicate); granite; marble; travertine; and limestone. To reduce weight and improve strength, the natural stone may be attached to an aluminum honeycomb backing as with the StonePly system. 9
