2 Ingram Micro, Milton Keynes Although the business is headquartered in Irvine, Californa, Ingram Micro has a substantial presence in the UK. Their Milton Keynes based offices were recently updated, and this forward-thinking company wanted to introduce flexible space and light transfer into the design. within the office s main meeting room to which bespoke graphics were added, creating a stunning focal point. And, being Creatif products, both systems provided impressive acoustic comfort. Creatif s glass operable wall, Domino, effectively addressed the issue of light transfer within the space, while Solo Creatif s market leading acoustic moving walls - provided not only space flexibility, but also acted as a bright, clean canvas Domino

3 Capco, Edinburgh Capco s Edinburgh offices are the most recent addition to the Capco family, serving the Scotland and Northern UK markets locally. We firmly believe that industry innovation - no matter what sector - stems from innovative employees working in an innovative environment. This is why Skim, our elegant sliding panel system, fitted the bill perfectly when Creatif were approached to provide a lightweight room divider to separate work and break-out areas within Capco s offices.

4 Tangle Teezer, London When a company has won a Cool Brands Award four years running, they re going to need something special when their London office is fitted out. Tangle Teezer know all about the power of an image. The design & build contractor knew that a Lightbox from Creatif gave them the freedom to put this power into expression. Creatif installed vertically mounted lightbox panels, with the cover fabric printed with full colour imagery to reflect the brand values. These panels can transform an therwise dull wall into a bright and exciting focal point. Lightbox

5 Catapult Transport Systems, Milton Keynes Catapult Transport Systems was created to drive and promote Intelligent Mobility using new and emerging technologies to transport people and goods more smartly and efficiently. Centrally located in the new town of Milton Keynes, TCS s Imovation Centre is a worldclass collaboration space for innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, business leaders and people passionate about how technology can improve transport systems. For example - think self-driving cars... It doesn t get more 21st century than that! Being such a forward-thinking company, it comes as no surprise that their offices are cutting edge. It should also come as no surprise that the architect responsible for this project, turned to Creatif for a forward-thinking flexible space solution. Our sheer glass, top-hung acoustic moving wall system, Insight, proved to be the best solution for separating TCS s collaborative environment and teleconferencing room, whilst allowing the transfer of natural light.

6 Youthscape, Luton The designers, HOK, made the most of a fabulous refurbished mill to create a stimulating series of spaces which can be reconfigured to suit the needs of the day or the hour. Close attention to detail included special finishes on the moving wall track to complement the original building elements, the introduction of large scale graphics on our Skim system and strategic acoustic panels. Every young person helped by Youthscape has a story to tell, and this building is designed to help the dedicated staff and the youngsters on that journey. We feel honored to have been able to contribute.

7 Edwards Global Technology Centre, Burgess Hill The company initially approached to install wall and ceiling rafts were unable to deliver on-time and on-budget. Enter Creatif Our in-house manufacturing and dedicated fitters meant that we could get the job done within the agreed budget and timescale. Despite a previously undisclosed 3metre high void above the ceiling! Creatif to the rescue! ReSound

8 Arup, Sheffield Arup s history in Sheffield began back in 1957, becoming their first office outside of London. Fast-forward almost 60 years and their presence within the city and surrounding regions is as prominent as ever, resulting in increased growth. With growth comes more staff, which inevitably means more required workspace, resulting in Arup s need to re-think their office layout. Creatif were approached to address the issue of high reverberation within this newly developed open-plan, collaborative workspace. Our suspended sound absorbent ceiling baffles turned acoustic chaos into calm, allowing Arup s staff to work and relax without noise distraction.

9 Inside Asia, Bristol This was a complex scheme incorporating a variety of finishes, LEDs, curved walls, careful consideration of acoustics, large scale graphics, contemporary colours and a relaxing Scandinavian aesthetic giving a discrete nod to the client s origins. Creatif supplied and installed a combination of products including a 53dB moving wall for optimum space efficiency, square and round acoustic ceiling rafts and Cocoon acoustic wall panels. Truly effective minimalist design has to be constructed to a far higher degree of perfection than so-called rustic schemes and a great example of this is the tree feature constructed by wrapping customcut acoustic wall panels in three shades of Camira Blazer fabric and then bonding them to a curved wall with total precision!

10 Adidas, Dublin Creatif were approached by the interior contractor to create a moving wall that incorporated a method of displaying iconic Adidas trainers, whilst retaining the Adidas brand. The walls in between the show space were required to retract in order to create larger, feature showrooms. The flexibility of this is further increased by the front faces of the moving wall pivoting open into the central atrium, allowing numerous display configurations for product launches and training opportunities.

11 IOM3, London The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is a heavyweight institution dating back to You could regard IOM3 as the very epitome of establishment gravitas but their new conferencing facilities based in London s Knowledge Quarter are a dramatic manifestation of the best in contemporary design. The Mine is a conferencing venue for use by IOM3 members to network, for internal team meetings and for hire as a revenue raiser. Visitors are immersed in a realistic subterranean environment complete with state-of-the-art presentation facilities. The design and fit-out have been so skilfully executed by CSK that the moving walls installed by Creatif are an integral and virtually invisible element in this amazing scheme. Special details included matt black tracks, extra wide panels with twin-point suspension and a full height pass door.

12 Cardiff Business Council, Cardiff Cardiff Business Council has a big brief... to promote Cardiff as a world-class destination for business and tourism on nothing less than a global scale. Their new offices designed by Paramount reflect these aspirations, with a considered and totally original take on workspace design. Creatif Skim with soft, sound absorbent panel faces and lively graphics was the perfect choice. Lightweight aluminium frames, each sized precisely to suit the building, are infilled with a sound-absorbent core and finished either side with a super-strong tensioned fabric skin.

13 Newcastle University, Newcastle Newcastle University needed a moving wall to divide a large open space. And they also needed to reduce reverberation (echo) within that space. And what they really wanted was something visually mind-blowing. Of course, the way to get what you need and what you want is to call in the Creatif consultants. And Creatif had the answer; Solo with our Acoustic art finish - a brilliant combination of art, acoustics, and a moving wall in one revolutionary product. The designation art stands for acoustic reverberation time, but for the University it simply meant that they could have any artwork of their choice - right across the moving wall. The result is astonishing. And no less astonishing is the reduction in reverberation time in the space on both sides of that wall. Acoustic art

14 Bluecoat Academy, Nottingham A respected school has to ensure that it s buildings and fittings always support the perception of quality that it has built up over many years. That s why the main contractor felt comfortable using Solo moving walls from Creatif. The brief was clear: a large auditorium needed a central movable dividing wall to enable a reduction in size in minutes. The wall must have high acoustic integrity, yet be simple and quick to open/close. The Solo semi-automatic moving wall met these requirements, and more. ReSound

Here at Creatif we fully support this mission, as we also want to make the world a happier place to work - and our ceiling rafts and acoustic wall panels did just that, removing unwanted reverberation from within these beautifully crafted collaborative workspaces and meeting rooms. 16 Fender, Horsham This is one brand that needs no introduction! How many of you out there haven t played air guitar with Bruce Springsteen? Back to reality, Fender had - unsurprisingly - a need for great acoustics. Creatif were called in by our customer Action Workspace, at an early stage in the design process to assist in balancing looks with acoustic control. Our Solo moving walls were ideal for the job. 110mm thick panels filled with acoustically effective material meant the Solo panels stopped unwanted sound transfer between the rooms. And with the rocking graphics applied, they fit right in at Fender HQ!

17 Royal College of Psychiatrists, London Creatif were faced with the challenge of creating a flexible auditorium space upstairs, coupled with facility for multiple flexible meeting rooms AND an impressive space to impress clients with high-spec moving walls downstairs at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The flexible space upstairs, using two different finishes on each side, plus glass-panel inserts, junction-panels and inset pass-doors provided an excellent interchangeable practical space. The use of Kvadrat fabric wrapped panel faces (with foam acoustic backing) on the client-facing area downstairs, brought a touch of class to the meeting rooms. But more than that, the acoustic backing absorbs unwanted reverberated noise which creates a very comfortable meeting environment.

18 Chartis, London For this prestigious project on Cheapside in the City of London, Creatif worked with the architect to produce a solution that met the required performance criteria as well as the desired look and feel. We printed our Cocoon fabric to match the architect s specification, and the fabric when used in conjunction with the acoustic foam interlayer, provided an efficiently acoustic moving wall, effectively reduced the sound reverberation within the meeting rooms and looked the part too. For the cellular meeting rooms the main requirement was for a graphic effect to be applied to the walls. It goes without saying that our printed fabric again did the trick with artwork provided to us we were able to achieve the look the architect and the client desired. And again, as the finish is a fabric, naturally sound reverberation with the cellular rooms was dramatically reduced. This time we didn t have the acoustic interlayer behind either! Acoustic art

19 CNG, Harrogate Absolute CI were approached by CNG to energise their employee break-out area, with the need to accommodate for both open-plan space to maximize employee engagement as well as more private, quiet spaces for staff to relax. Having worked together successfully on many occasions in the past, Absolute CI approached space-division experts Creatif to help deliver the brief. Four of our innovative 4-person Cube booths provide several secluded pods where staff can escape the open-plan when required. Skim, our elegant sliding panel system also features on this project, separating the open-plan cafeteria environment from the quiet space whilst displaying stunning graphics reflecting CNG s brand.

20 Handelsbanken, Leeds This was a complex scheme incorporating a variety of finishes, LEDs, curved walls, careful consideration of acoustics, large scale graphics, contemporary colours and a relaxing Scandinavian aesthetic giving a discrete nod to the client s origins. Creatif supplied and installed a combination of products including a 53dB moving wall for optimum space efficiency, square and round acoustic ceiling rafts and also acoustic wall panels. A distinguishing feature of this project was the meticulous attention given by Wagstaff s site manager and our own fitters to the setting out. All the various elements had to be aligned together to do full justice to this deceptively simple scheme.

21 Aviva, Birmingham Insurance giants, Aviva, required an acoustically efficient glass moving wall that was fast and easy to use. Creatif s solution was our UK exclusive Insight Domino acoustic glass mechanical moving wall. This innovative system provided the user with the perfect balance between transparency and acoustic performance. Not to mention the mechanical seals that mean these panels are faster to open/ close than any other moving wall system on the market. The end result is a flexible meeting space that is easily configured with minimum effort, the transfer of natural light between the rooms maintained and acoustic integrity to Rw 33dB achieved too. 22 International Food Conglomerate, London When Area Sq designed this space for an International Food Conglomerate in Weybridge they needed a ceiling effect that would fully complement the modern and relaxed ambience. But as it was an engagement area they also had to control unwanted noise. Specifically designed for acoustic reverberation control, our ceiling baffles give designers the visual scope they need. Without the noise. The solution, of course, was ReSound from Creatif. These created exactly the visual effect required, but, more importantly, they provided a high level of sound absorption. ReSound

23 Wild & Wolf, Bath Wild & Wolf are leading design-led gift and lifestyle product creators. After recently making the move to a three floor site at Manvers Street in Bath, they appointed Interaction to create an agile workspace that would help to inspire and facilitate their working culture. Bespoke joinery is featured throughout, to reflect the unique Wild & Wolf brand. Agile and open-plan spaces present challenges in terms of acoustics. Thankfully, Interaction knew this would be an issue from the start and called in the experts at Creatif for a solution - which came in the form of ReSound acoustic ceiling baffles. Being Class A sound absorbers, ReSound panels soak up 95% sound that reaches them.

24 Call Centre, Rotherham AFH Contracts designed a beautiful openplan call centre in Rotherham, with relaxing break-away areas in a minimalist style. But they knew that relaxation and reverberation are uncomfortable partners, and staff do not appreciate the high noise levels generally associated with call centres. The answer was to include reverb control panels from Creatif as an integral part of the design. These attractive and cost-effective modular tiles are designed to reduce reverberation and dramatically enhance acoustic comfort. Creatif manufactured the panels to match exactly the colour scheme and general ambience of the space, with the result that the enemy was put to flight!

25 MotoNovo, Cardiff MotoNovo have been providing vehicle finance to UK customers for over 40 years, and recently moved into a new 13,500 sq ft office across five floors in central Cardiff. Morgan Lovell were appointed to design and build the project, which needed to reflect MotoNovo s recent award as sixth in the 100 Best Companies to Work For by The Sunday Times. Due to a number of flexible space requirements, Creatif were appointed. Insight our acoustic glazed operable wall system not only opens up the large conference rooms to the external collaboration area but provides maximum light transfer and excellent acoustics. This, coupled with Solo our solid panel acoustic moving wall system, which provides extra writing surface offers the ability to create combined meeting rooms within the conference area as well as providing maximum acoustic integrity beween rooms when closed.

26 Professional Services Company, Bristol Need something different? BDP s interiors team provided a unique design for there client and Creatif worked with them to provide a product that delivered their vision. Orthodox is certainly not the best description for the Float agile sliding panels system for this meeting room. The architect was looking for an edgy, industrial style. And Creatif, being designers and manufacturers, were the obvious people to work with to match this requirement. OSB board with a high quality surface treatment, allied to the slim and versatile Float frame, sets the style and perfectly complements the visible ceiling void above.

27 University of Huddersfield, Kirklees Heritage Quay is the official archive for the University of Huddersfield, acting as the guardian of the archives of other organisations, families and individuals dating back over 200 years. This project is one Creatif are extremely happy to have been a part of, considering that the facility racked up another five national awards in 2016 alone, to add to its already long list of honours. The fit-out company responsible for the build, Triton, approached Creatif with the requirement for a straight, sliding wall capable of separating two spaces an archive display room full of artefacts in glass cabinets, and a seminar space which includes a huge interactive screen. Our solution was to install Linera - our monolithic and minimalist straight sliding panel system, which runs parallel to the space s interior walls and completely disappears from view when required.

28 OE Electrics, Wakefield Did you know that OE Electrics are one of the most innovative and respected global electrical solutions companies? We did... It s why they are Creatif s preferred suppliers of power and data points! With this in mind, it was nice to send some products their way for a change when appointed by fit-out specialists Clegg Construction to help with flexible space and acoustic solutions at OE s massive new site at Calder Park in Wakefield. Our Solo moving wall system addressed the need for an acoustically efficient room divider, separating two meeting spaces. Clarity - our super-slim glass operable wall - was also installed, allowing for light transfer and also some additional branding within the space in the form of manifestations on the panel faces. Finally, to address the issue of excessive reverberated sound within the space, ReSound ceiling baffles were installed.

29 CBRE, Bristol The commercial property consultants at CBRE advise more clients than any other commercial property adviser. Interaction were appointed to bring CBRE s new-found offices in-line with their status as a market-leader. A crucial part of the brief was to reflect the company s pride in their Bristol base. With the need for a moving wall to separate two meeting rooms, Creatif were approached due to vast experience in manufacturing operable walls with vinyl printed graphics which needed to reflect CBRE s connection with the city of Bristol. The outcome was a stunning bespokeprinted design of the Bristol cityscape, spanning the width of all six operable panels which makeup the system. And of course, as an acoustically efficient Creatif product the end result truly sounds as good as it looks.

30 Weetwood Hall, Leeds Weetwood Hall, situated in Leeds, is one Yorkshire s finest hotels. Corporate functions are commonplace at Weetwood Hall, and Creatif were approached to disguise a bar located outside one of the main function rooms within the building. The brief was simple provide a straight sliding wall capable of being completely hidden from view to reveal a fully-stocked bar when required. Our Linera straight sliding moving wall system was, by definition, the obvious solution. To portray Weetwood Hall s heritage within the Leeds area, we incorporated fabric wrapped graphics featuring the city s skyline. And being a Creatif wall, the graphics can be peeled off, washed or even changed quickly and efficiently. Acoustic art

31 TalkTalk, Salford Being one of the UK s largest phone, broadband and TV providers, TalkTalk is a brand that needs no introduction. TalkTalk s impressive new digs are now the working base for over 1,300 staff. Tasked with meeting the needs and requirements for all of those hard workers was Claremont, along with our help... Creatif implemented a number of acoustic solutions to address the issue of excessive reverberation in the form of our semi-rigid acoustic panels - Whisper - in both the vast open-plan call-handling floors and also within several meeting spaces. The ground floor contains a large open-plan cafeteria, and is home to several of our gliding Skim panels. Finished with changeable printed fabric which displays stunning photography of the surrounding areas, the panels help absorb sound whilst also offering space flexibility.

32 NeuLion, London NeuLion is a worldwide leader specializing in digital video broadcasting distribution and monetization. Their new offices are located in Shoreditch s recently re-developed C Space building, within which NeuLion occupy the entire top floor and half of the third floor, totalling 15,387 sq ft. Modus were appointed to deliver this project, and having previous experience with the refurbishment of older buildings were aware of the acoustic challenges ahead - at which stage Creatif were approached for a solution. Whilst aesthetically stunning, the fit-out naturally introduced more sound-reflective surfaces into an already poor acoustic environment, increasing reverberation of sound throughout the space. Creatif s solution was to install ceiling-hung ReSound acoustic baffles to break up sound waves, creating a more pleasant space. Fabric finishes compliment the space, making it look as good as it sounds.

33 Technology Giant, Maidenhead In one of the main open-plan workspaces within these brand new offices are our mobile panels, Float, which are designed to encourage agile and activity-based working. With a drywipe finish, these colossal panels are easier than they look to move around and encourage collaborative working. All with a slick-looking exposed head track powder-coated black. Within one of the office s main meeting rooms, our Organics acoustic cork wall blocks can be found in abundance. Being a Class D acoustic absorber, the tiles effectively remove unwanted noise in a space, enhancing acoustic comfort. Acoustic properties aside, the tiles bring an otherwise plain white wall to life. Finally, our acoustic operable moving wall system - Solo - also features on this project, separating two large meeting spaces with ease. The crisp white finish compliments what is a clean, minimalist design while effectively addressing the issue of noise transfer between two spaces.

34 Leigh Academies Trust, London Leigh Academies Trust has gone from strength to strength since its creation in 2008 and is now one of the country s most successful multi-academy trusts. Through a model of education that creates a network of inspirational and inclusive academies that share the same values, the Trust provides the drive for outstanding educational improvement and dynamic transformation. Creatif were approached to help find a decorative solution which would divide up studio space within the the Trust s creative studio space. Our answer - mobile Float panels. A solution that looks as good as it functions.

35 Focus Learning Academies Trust, Warwick As part of a new global initiative to attract the talent of top educational professionals, Focus Learning Academy Trust recently took ownership of first floor offices in Warwick s Exchange Place business park. Top talent deserves top facilities to operate within, and fit-out experts Unispace were tasked to deliver. Whilst beautifully finished in rustic, wooden furniture and cladding with contrasting bright white walls - the large, open-plan space posed one major challenge... A distinct lack of segregated collaborative working areas. Enter Creatif... Float - our agile moving panel system - is the ideal agile working tool, creating a flexible environment, configurable in seconds. A variety chalk and drywipe finishes as well as writable glass panels further enhances agile working by providing extra writing surface, with acoustic panels also featuring to help reduce unwanted noise.

36 Midlands on View, West Midlands Midlands On View is a modern research and viewing facility located in the West Midlands, with multiple rooms offering full viewing facilities that can cater for all requirements, including video conferencing and collaborative working space. Workers can now enjoy video meetings and conference calls without excessive noise distraction - at both ends of the line. Top facilities designed to encourage productivity require ample acoustics - something our ReSound acoustic ceiling baffles help achieve, addressing the issue of excessive reverberation within several of the video conferencing rooms at Midlands on View.

37 Food & Drink Federation, London The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) is the voice of the UK food and drink industry, the largest manufacturing sector in the country. Key to the brief was the need to give FDF s staff flexible ways of working as well as to provide a great experience for members. Creatif were approached to help enhance flexibility within the space in the form of an operable wall. As large-scale meetings are common within FDF s offices, our slim, acoustic glass moving wall system - Domino - was the ideal choice. Domino gives FDF the option to open up their entire reception area when required, and can be closed off to create separate individual meeting rooms when required. With mechanical seals that do not require manual-winding, Domino is able to adapt to the space within minutes. And while experiencing the benefit of light transfer between rooms, acoustic integrity is not lost due to Domino s unrivalled attenuation. Domino

38 Akamai, London In late 2016, Akamai - the global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services - announced the addition of a new set of UK offices in the Soho area of central London - a second-floor space totalling just under 9,000 sq ft. The building itself employs an ecological roof incorporating flowers, vegetation, grasses and habitats for insects, birds and bats, plus a host of solar panels, putting into perspective just how cutting-edge Akamai s office requirements were. These modern ideas are reflected within the interior design of Akamai s new offices, which have been exquisitely brought to life through the vision of Workplace UK - and when multiple sets of acoustic moving walls were required, they knew Creatif would be able to deliver. 39 Plexal, Here East, London According to the fit-out professionals at Paragon Interiors, the key deliverables on this project were to; Create a space to host a state-of the art prototyping/tech laboratory as well as individual, flexible offices, to cater for basic co-working as well as private offices to house up to thirty people. As part of the design an events stage, public open collaboration spaces and a high street, complete with cafe s and retail outlets, were also incorporated. Creatif fully support open plan, agile working environments, and understand the acoustic challenges they can present. This is why we were approached by Paragon to help address the issue of unwanted noise. 40 Distrelec, Manchester Swiss company Distrelec have been technology distribution giants for over 65 years. They recently decided to centralise certain important European functions in Manchester consolidating them from Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, creating over 100 new jobs in the process. Top quality workspace undoubtedly goes a long way to securing top quality talent - something fitout specialists ADT Workplace understand completely. As space flexibility was key to the brief for this project, Creatif were approached to assist in delivering operable walls. Our Solo acoustic moving wall system not only provides effective control of noise transfer between spaces, but also allows rooms to be joined or separated in a matter of seconds. To match the Swiss-themed decor - two different stunning mountainous scenes were printed onto both sides of the system.

41 British Film Institute, London According to fit-out specialists, Area; Building owners wanted to implement new ways of working in order to minimise wasted space, reduce overheads and generate income by reconfiguring staff spread over 5 floors into 3, creating 2 floors for subletting. The refurbishment updated 1st and 2nd floors, and completely renovated a tired 60s fit out on the 3rd floor. The end result is a light, open-plan interior designed to encourage both agile and collaborative working. Creatif implemented the acoustic solutions, utilising Whisper wall and baffle systems in meeting rooms and throughout the open plan spaces. To further extend BFI s event hire offer, a large basement storage area was also transformed into conference meeting rooms and event space. Creatif s acoustic and semi-automatic glass moving wall system, Insight, helps reconfigure the space in seconds, allowing for a variety of uses. The integrated blinds were the final touch, offering privacy as and when it s needed.

42 Tabcorp, The Shard, London The key requirement on this project was to attract and retain talented staff, encourage collaboration across teams, and provide flexible working options. Creatif assisted Area in creating flexible meeting spaces with Domino glass moving walls, combined with a Solo solid panel moving wall to create flexible segregation inside the meeting rooms. Domino moving walls were applied to the elevation of the meeting rooms, finished in a combination of yellow glass and black laminate panels, with integrated pass-doors and black powder-coated frames. Around the central town hall space was the need for a sliding panel system that provided a surface to write on to assist in collaborative working. Creatif utilised Float. Black head track was suspended below the ceiling supporting the white writeable sliding glass panels that had integrated stoppers enabling them to be fixed at any point around the town hall space. Domino

43 Auto Trader, Manchester Auto Trader have been credited with providing some of the best offices in the UK for their employees and despite not being as large as their much talked about London offices, their Manchester site is no different. We were lucky enough to work on this project a few years previously, installing one of our market leading moving walls - so when fit out experts Wagstaff Interiors were tasked to deliver additional workspace, they sought the help of Creatif when the requirement for a lightweight room divider arose. In addition to acting as a functional divider of space, key to the brief was matching the colours and textures of the soft furnishings. Creatif s agile moving panel system, Float, divides areas up in a matter of seconds with minimal effort. To accommodate all teams in one building, they recently made the decision to relocate to two floors of the new 5 Wellington Place in Leeds expanding office occupancy to 26,500 sq ft. Interestingly, more than 80% of the interiors on this project were manufactured in Yorkshire including Creatif s leaf-style Whisper ceiling rafts. 45 Thales e-security, Cambridge The e-security branch of this global brand is the leader in advanced data security solutions and services. They recently made the decision to locate their new Excellence Centre at CB1 - a vibrant new city quarter being developed around Cambridge rail station in the UK s science & technology capital. The 27,600 sq ft space accommodates more than 100 specialised engineers, and is described by Thales as a worldclass workspace that provides employees with a modern, flexible environment that encourages smart working. It brings together engineers, research and development and innovation teams, enabling collaboration with customers, partners and suppliers. Whilst flexible environments are great for collaboration, if acoustics are not properly considered, they can have a negative effect on staff productivity. 46 FI Real Estate, Swindon The asset and property management specialists at FI Real Estate are always helping people take better care of their living and working spaces, so it s no surprise that when the time came to update their own offices that they wanted the very best. This clean, stylish environment features vast open plan collaboration and teleconferencing spaces which despite being great for co-working, typically offer poor acoustics. This results in noise distraction and ultimately an unproductive place to work. When approached to address this issue, Creatif s acoustic ceiling raft system - ReSound was the obvious choice. Interior fit-out specialists, Claremont, described the brief as being asked to create a new workspace with an attractive business and client lounge as well as ample spaces to bring the team together and support its pending transition to agile working. At Creatif, we fully support and embrace the concept of agile working. We also understand that it can produce acoustic challenges within a workspace especially at a site like Weightmans, with 170 employees. This is why when Claremont required a solution to eliminate reverberation and combat noise distraction, they came to us. A combination of Creatif s ReSound acoustic wall panels and ceiling rafts helped to transform an otherwise unpleasant acoustic environment into a much calmer one. Having outgrown their office of 11 years, Shoosmiths sought a new environment that would better represent the business and accommodate their growing team. The end result is an environment which supports a collaborative and open style of working, with ample acoustics. They felt it was time to embrace the concept of agile working, ultimately tasking Axis House with refurbishing their offices and asked Creatif to help deliver. Following an extended period of growth, Snow Software decided to relocate their UK offices to a 13,000 sq ft site within The Capital Building in Bracknell. Fit-out specialists Office Principles were tasked with providing a practical and exciting environment for staff. Due to the internal design guidelines imposed by the client, Creatif were approached to help diminish reverberation within the space in the form of our ReSound acoustic ceiling rafts. The vast range of colour and shape options complimented the aesthetics of the space, whilst enhancing acoustic comfort.

53 City of London Academy, London When renovating several of the Sixth Form classrooms at City of London s, the need for flexible space was a main priority. Solo even provides extra writing space, with a dry-wipe finish on both sides. Creatif were approached to find a solution for one problem; provide the option of having either one classroom or two. 55 Learning Tree, London Learning Tree is a leading provider of individual, team and organisation-wide IT and management training. Their London-based Education Centre has 11 fully equipped rooms located on the ground floor of Euston House. When refurbished by Area, Creatif were appointed to install two of our Cube acoustic meeting booths to offer a retreat from the open plan environment. The interior acoustic panels soak up unwanted background noise and to keep conversations inside the Cube whisper-quiet. 56 STS, Leeds After relocating their head office to a new site, refurbishment started with Creatif approached to address two main issues. Firstly, excessive reverberation within the building s open-plan Sales office. With up to 6 people talking on the phone at once, it can be hard for staff (and customers at the other end of the line!) to focus on their conversation. This is a problem we see all too often, but thankfully the solution is a simple one; absorbent acoustic panels - in this instance, in the form of our 3D tiles. With the Sales office taken care of, Creatif were also asked to propose a solution for secluded meeting and study areas within another open-plan part of the building. 57 New Chapter, Leeds In mid-2017, the Leeds branch of this leading recruitment specialist decided to write a new chapter into their history and moved to a 2,000 sq ft site in the city centre. The professionals at Absolute CI were approached to refurbish the site, and separate collaboration and single-person study spaces were key to the brief. As suppliers and manufacturers of the market s leading acoustic meeting booths, Creatif were approached to install two Cubes. The internal acoustic panels - finished in the company s brand colours - offer Class A absorption of sound, meaning they eliminate 95% of sound that touches them. 58 OneFamily OneFamily is a financial services provider. It is a mutual society and as such has no shareholders, and is instead owned by it s two million members. Their 54,000 sq ft Brighton offices span 7 floors and accommodate 500 staff. Fit-out specialists Office Principles were chosen to refurbish the site, and quickly moved to appoint Creatif to help address the issue of excessive reverberation within the building s reception area. 59 Astrak, Kirkcaldy Astrak are a leading supplier of excavator undercarriage parts. Thanks to continued growth, they sought the help of Anchorpoint Interiors to deliver a 250,000 office refit. Astrak s Managing Director, Richard Paterson said the new offices would give a modern, agile working twist to the working environment and give staff a better and more collaborative experience when speaking at Scotland s biggest construction equipment trade event, SCOT Plant The two Cube booths provided offer enough space for a combined total of eight people and due to their central position within the office layout, they act effectively as a divider of space. After securing new premises which saw their Stretford branch move to central Manchester s Trafford House, an office refit was required. 62 PG Group, Bath After purchasing the well-known premises at Number One Bristol, The PG Group needed an experienced design and build and appointed Interaction to deliver the project. The end result at this 5,628 sq ft site is a clean, modern workspace which encourages agile working thanks to its various zones. Open plan workspaces are great for collaborative and agile working, but can often present many challenges when it comes to acoustics.
