2 History Middle East Traders B.S.C(c), also known as MET, is a family owned business; established in 1951 by the late Sheikh Ishaq Bin Abdulrahman along with his sons and co-founders Mohammed Bin Ishaq, Ebrahim Bin Ishaq, and Abdullatif Bin Ishaq. As the name implies, it is known as one of the pioneering and leading trading companies in the Middle East (GCC) region. As one of Bahrain s landmarks, the showroom was inaugurated under the patronage of the late Emir Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa (Ruler), late Emir Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa (Crown Prince), Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa (Prime Minister) along with the presence of other prominent diplomats and business figures. Middle East Traders B.S.C(c) was honoured to have served and exported to the following clients: King Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (King of Saudia Arabia visited 1953). Sheikh Ahmed Bin Ali Al Thani (Ruler of Qatar visited 1970s). Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said (Sultan of Oman exported 1970s).
