2 BUILDING EXTERIOR Award-winning architects Beyer Blinder Belle, the team behind the restoration of historic New York landmarks such as Grand Central Terminal and The Empire State Building, have utilized their abundant experience working with iconic buildings to design an elegant hand-cut Indiana Limestone and Manhattan schist façade that is both striking and perfectly contextual to the Park Avenue Historic Landmark District. The limestone exterior of the building corresponds seamlessly with the neighboring landmark Park Avenue Church, designed by Cram, Goodhue, and Ferguson. The grand arrival crafted from carved Indiana Limestone is detailed with Gothic finials, panels, and tracery and has a traditional sidewalk canopy with integrated lighting, extending to the curb.
