2 Introduction We at TAL pride ourselves that our luminaires can be perfectly combined with one another. Every device has the famous TAL- DNA, an attractive mix of technical expertise, stylish design, top-quality materials and excellent workmanship. Each one of them is a lighting masterpiece. Some of the devices from our surface-mounted series are particularly easily to mix and match. BOA, BOA WALL, MICRO TOMMY 3 SURFACE and the recently resurrected MAZ are all surface-mounted luminaires that share the same design language. They are featured by a modern, austere housing without visible screws. The dimensions are identical so that the combination of these appliances results in a sublime overall look. Both BOA CEILING and BOA WALL now have a protective glass over the LED, which also serves an aesthetic purpose. This way, the interior of the luminaire has a beautifully finished look. We extended the series with a completely white version (MOON) and the colour temperature 3000K is now available as standard. And to top it all, the BOA WALL UP/ DOWN is now also available in a dimmable version. 14 Fair Maison & Objet (Paris) In September, TAL participated in the prestigious design and interior decoration fair Maison & Objet in Paris. We showed, among others, HABANA, the newest addition to our THINK small collection, and our now famous KING GEORGE. We also presented the brand new, perfectly crafted antique brass, antique bronze and tin finishes of the NUTS suspension. 14

15 Did you know that... Helax SML installation hole 56mm HELAX SML is a small downlight that can be flush-mounted in a hole of only 56 mm. In spite of these limited dimensions, the installation hole is sufficiently large for installing the driver as well. So both luminaire and driver can be mounted in the same hole. As TAL s ambition is to offer luminaires that are easy to install, this installation hole of 56 mm will also become the standard for other devices. We are currently developing a small flush-mounted box that will make it possible to build in our suspended M10 luminaires, obviously with the same drill hole diameter of only 56 mm! More information will follow soon. 15
