2 SCOPE AND CALL FOR PAPERS The aim of the conference is to present the latest researches and developments in the field of thermal spraying, as well as of hardfacing. We are looking for papers mainly dedicated to: new materials and technologies, properties of coatings and weld deposits, novel characterization methods as well as new industrial applications in different operating conditions. In addition, the problems concern training of specialists, quality and certification system at thermal spraying and hardfacing technologies will be discussed. The session dedicated to generative techniques (with particular emphasis on 3D printing) of metallic materials will be included since this year's edition. The oral as well as poster sessions are planned. All presented papers will be reviewed and then published in a professional journal. LOCATION The Conference will be held in Wroclaw, the largest city in western Poland. Wroclaw is a city with over a thousand year of tradition, where the history meets modernity. The city can be easily reached from the most of European destinations. The Conference will be held in Silver Conference Center, at 3 Konstytucji 3 Maja Square, Wrocław Recommended accommodation is Hotel Ibis Styles Wroclaw Centrum, located at the same place as Silver Conference Centre. Hotel reservation form is available on our website. A special room rate is provided for conference guests (the number of available rooms is limited; first come first served). Hotel and Conference Centre are close to Wrocław Główny railway station (300 m) and are directly connected with Wrocław-Strachowice Airport (daily bus 106 and night bus 206). PAPERS Papers presented during the ITSHC conference will be published after standard peer-review process in the Welding Technology Review. The best selected articles will be published in an indexed Englishlanguage journal. The journal guidelines are available on the conference website in the Conference Flyers For Authors tab. INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION During the conference the industrial exhibition dedicated to thermal spraying and hardfacing will be also held. All industrial partners working on: - thermal spraying and hardfacing, - feedstock materials, - characterization equipment, are kindly invited. FORMS OF PARTICIPANTION There are four forms of participation: (1) Academic (including students), (2) Industrialists, (3) Exhibitors and (4) Sponsors. One day or three days participation can be chosen. Depending on the date of registration the price may vary. Early birds registration is opened until July 15, See the next pages to know all details.
