Alexander, the leader of Guang Design investigated the luminaire system and the optoelectronics test when he held a product designer position with the opto-electronic semiconductor company. During his earlier exploration, he had had diverse experiences and observations of implementation and participation in the international lighting practice. In addition, he had not only an abundance of international lighting technical cooperation experiences but also several special projects in lighting application. Owing to affection of the development of international advanced lighting system, such as LED lighting techniques and experiences of technical cooperation with Japanese Lighting Design School, Panasonic, and KOIZUMI Lighting, he determined to establish the Guang Design Inc. in Then, in 2006, he accomplished the Taipei World Trade Center s public lighting improvement case and Grand Formosa Regent banquet s illumination engineering. In period of time, he realized that it is important to integrate engineering technique into lighting design esthetics; moreover, it would be helpful to build a design team with technical and introduce lastest lighting technique from abroad. Since 2007, he has been starting to undertake the public lighting design, and the base government s urban lighting master plan, furthermore, he has even been the consultant so far.
