11 1. Logo 1.9 Monochrome Monochrome logos are used to compliment the matrial in which it is being placed upon. Especially when the material in question uses a main dominant colour. Within Tallinn Airport materials the monochrome logo is mostly used with orange and/or blue. Logo 1.13 Portrait Logo: Safe Zone, Sizing & A standard documentation rules. *The portrait logo is the only logo used for documentation! safe zone width a b Portrait Logo is always aligned by the safe zone to the upper edge and b right margin! bird width If size is 210 x 297 mm, then a = 0,2 x 210 mm With the width of the log and safe zone then b = 0,2 x a bird height safe zone height Use portrait logo on portrait documentation wherever possible. Landscape Advertsing: Portrait Advertsing: a b a b c For portrait advertisng the portrait logo size by the hieght of the document and the height of the logo and safe zone. Alignment is always by the safe zone to the upper edge and b right margin! If size is 100 x 210 mm, then c = 0,3 x 210 mm With the width of the log and safe zone then b = 0,2 x a *Logo is always used & measured with safe zone. For landscape advertisng the portrait logo is always aligned by the safe zone to the upper edge and b right margin! If size is 210 x 148 mm, then a = 0,3 x 210 mm With the width of the log and safe zone then b = 0,2 x a *Logo is always used & measured with safe zone. Exception to the rules. If when using this formula the optimum width is unreachable because of of a narrow document height, then re-size the logo so that the height matches the the height of the document. 19 1. Logo 1.16 Wrong usage It is important that our logos are treated with respect and used appropriatly as outlined in the following guidelines and pages. Here are a few logo DO s & DONT S : 1. DO always respect the logo safety zone. 6. DON T use the colour logo on a colourful photo without white background. 2. DON T squash or stretch the logo. It is perfect the way it is. 3. DON T change the logos colours. They perfect the way they are. 4. DON T put the logo on different colour backgrounds other than what is outlined in the following pages. 5. DON T repeat or have more than one logo on print or screen material anless instucted to do so. 8. DON T change the angle of the logo. It s perfect the way it is.
