2 Introduction Regarding to the cooperation with Graduate School, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Decorative Arts, Faculty of Music and Silpakorn University Art Center, The 1 st International Creative Art Disseminating 2014 is going to be held on March 19 th 2014 at Silpakorn University Art Center, Wangthapra Campus. There are two types of Creative Art Disseminating, as follow. Research Paper (in English) Performance or Exhibition Selected creative works totaling 28 presented from faculties and graduate students in Thai academics including King Mongkut s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Burapha University, Phayap University and Khonkaen University and international academics from Art and Design Department, California Polytechnic State University (United State of America), Aichi University of the Arts (Japan), Accademia di Belle Arti Samta Guilia di Brescia (Italy), Slade School of Fine Art in London (United Kingdom) and Kala-Bhavana, Visva Bharati University Santiniketan (India). We would like to thank all participants, peer reviewers, honorable guests, and especially, the president of Silpakorn university council (Prof. Emeritus Khunying Khaisri Sri-Aroon) and finally the president of Silpakorn University (Asst. Prof. Chaicharn Thavaravej) that make this project achievement in the prospective objectives. 3 Message from President of Silpakorn University On behalf of Silpakorn University, I am honored to be joining the first International Creative Art Disseminating 2014 at Art Centre Silpakorn University, Wangthapra Bangkok. Silpakorn university has four campuses including Wangthapra, Thalingchan, Sanamchandra and Petchaburi. This is one of the most famous comprehensive universities in Thailand. This project is a symbol of the vision of the Silpakorn University to the leading university of creative. All of the works from lecturer and graduate students will provide a potential and higher level of quality and internationally. 4 Message from Dean of the Graduate School, Silpakorn University This art international conference is organized from cooperation with Graduate School, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Decorative Arts, Faculty of Music and Silpakorn University Art Center. The main purpose is to response the vision and strategy of the Silpakorn University to the leading university of creative and toward quality of graduate student creative works. This conference also encourages faculties to higher level of quality and internationally as well as exchange knowledge, academic networking and collaboration among creative artists in Thailand and International. There are two types of the creative art disseminating including research paper and performance or exhibition. The selected creative works totaling 28 presented from faculties and graduate students in Thailand and international institutional including King Mongkut s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Burapha University, Phayap University, Khonkaen University. international academics from Art and Design Department, California Polytechnic State University (United State of America), Aichi University of the Arts (Japan), Accademia di Belle Arti Samta Guilia di Brescia (Italy), Slade School of Fine Art in London (United Kingdom) and Kala-Bhavana, Visva Bharati University Santiniketan (India). (6 pieces), 2013 The artist creates symbols that are inspired by 108 imaginary images of the Buddha s footprint. They symbolize the goodness, morality, and the great knowledge of the Lord Buddha. He borrows the idea from Buddhist philosophy and then re-interprets it with his own imagination. By adding natural and synthetic materials within the artwork, the concept becomes involving the representation of all 6 human s sense, including eyes, ears, nose, mouth, skin, and mind. 19
