2 Reasoning Why introduce SPe Bodyshop? There are many bodyshop tasks that now require the use of electronic tooling, these are varied and often complicated to use. Until now SPe Bodyshop is function oriented, rather than focused on system knowledge, operators only need to know what they want to achieve, and not how to do it. No need to call in a specialist, SPe can handle your needs.

3 SPe a straight-forward tool Switch on SPe then select make and model SPe connects to most newer (post 2001) vehicles via the 16 pin EOBD socket and informs the user of the EOBD socket location Select task for SPe to perform Follow the on screen prompts to complete task

4 Helpful SPe guides the bodyshop technician, who does not need to be a diagnostics expert; the knowledge and capability is in SPe choose the task you need. Key tasks: Electronic systems estimation, bodyshop component system reset, coding new components, and system diagnostics. Aids bodyshop work that requires ECU activation for new or replaced components.

6 Switching SPe On & Off Connect metal end of main EOBD diagnostics cable into base of SPe, correct connection is indicated by the retaining clip clicking into place. Press button to switch SPe on only, for off - press F function key, & follow prompts. To remove main EOBD cable from SPe, press in tab on metal connector and remove from unit.

8 SPe Body Shop Operation SPe program starts automatically once switched on, just wait for main page to display, and then select first option for vehicle selection. SPe Body Shop

9 SPe Body Shop Operation Choose vehicle make using navigation keys, then use selection key to proceed; Repeat steps then for Vehicle model and version.

10 Connection Instructions SPe instructs user where to connect to vehicle.

11 Vehicle Options SPe then displays all possible bodyshop actions for chosen vehicle in sub menu choices Note, only those systems hosted by connected vehicle will be shown by SPe. No confusion over what is and isn t possible.
