Drain pump interventions during washing During the washing phase, the drain pump performs interventions which allow eliminating the surface dirt and any foam that creates in the tank. These interventions can be set from the technical menu 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 53 Drain Pump Wash Loop Numer and tap on the + or - keys to increase or decrease the interventions 3- Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow The interventions last 10 seconds spaced by a 5 second pause and are only executed during the washing phase. If the washing time is insufficient to guarantee the execution of the set interventions, the excess will not be executed. The default setting is 1 and you can set a maximum of 5 interventions. 31

Drain pump interventions during the pause At the end of the wash cycle, before the rinse, a 25sec drain is run which eliminates about 3l of dirty water from the wash tank (except versions with total water refill). The eliminated 3 litres will then be restored with clean and hot water during the rinse phase. In this way a partial water refill at each wash cycle is guaranteed. Since the drain phase coincides with the pause, in dishwashers with drain pump activated, the pause will last 25sec. Changing the drain time, equally changes the duration of the pause. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the drain phase to always ensure the same level of water in the tank. To change the drain duration: 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 54 Drain Pump Rinse Advance Time and tap on the + or - keys to increase or decrease the drain time 3- Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow Drain pump intervention after rinsing You can activate a drain cycle at the end of rinsing which allows to always maintain a constant level of water in the tank if the drains during the wash phase and during the pause are not sufficient. 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 55 Drain Pump After Rinse Time and tap on the + or - keys to increase or decrease the drain time at the end of the cycle 3- Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow 32

WATER SOFTENER PARAMETERS For machines with built-in water softener, run the automatic regeneration with a frequency calculated according to the water inlet hardness. setting the hardness of water that supplies the dishwasher in the technical menu automatically sets this parameter as well. It is still possible to change this value from the technical menu: 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 57 Regeneration Interval and tap on the + or - keys to increase the regeneration frequency 3- Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow 33

Table of regeneration frequency recommended depending on the inlet water hardness: Inlet water hardness ( f) Regeneration interval Autonomy with 1 Kg of salt (cycles)

AUTOCLEAN PROGRAM AT END OF OPERATION The autoclean program automatically starts whenever the tank is switched off and emptied. It involves a series of rinses of the wash tank which eliminate any deposits of detergent and foam from the bottom of the dishwasher and nears any dirt residues to the filter for their easier removal. Dishwasher with drain pump installed: At the end of operation, remove the overflow tube and press and hold the drain key to drain the dishwasher. After draining, the autoclean cycle will start automatically, rinsing the tank and draining the water at regular intervals. The autoclean cycle lasts approximately 90 seconds, after which the dishwasher switches off automatically. Should you wish to start another autoclean cycle, press and hold the drain key in the Stand-by screen with the machine off Dishwasher without a drain pump installed: At the end of the operation, remove the overflow element and turn off the dishwasher by briefly tapping on the ON/OFF key. The display will show the message svuotare la vasca per avviare autoclean (empty the tank to start autoclean), to remind the operator to remove the overflow element The autoclean cycle automatically activates as soon as the tank is empty. At the end of the autoclean cycle, the dishwasher switches off 35

N.B. If when the dishwasher is switched off the tank does not empty because the overflow element has been left on, the autoclean cycle is cancelled. If the dishwasher is turned off by pressing and holding the ON/OFF key, the autoclean cycle will not be performed and the display will immediately show Stand-by Deactivation of the autoclean program. You can inhibit the autoclean cycle automatic start at each dishwasher switch-off, keeping only the manual start active. To deactivate: 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 58 Autoclean After Drain and tap on the + or - keys to activate/deactivate the automatic autoclean. 3- Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow By deactivating item 58 in the technical menu, you will only be able to start the autoclean cycle with the machine off, by pressing and holding the drain key. 36

PROGRAMMED MAINTENANCE The dishwasher will show a message requesting maintenance at intervals predetermined by the manufacturer, in order to check the proper operation of all critical components and, in particular, the replacement of detergent and rinse aid tubes inside the dosers. N.B. performing programmed maintenance prevents sudden failures, extending the dishwasher life span. The request for maintenance will appear on the expiry of the days count or of the cycles count. It is, in fact, provided: one message after 1 year from first installation or from last alarm reset (days count) one message after 80,000 wash cycles from the first dishwasher installation one message after 50,000 wash cycles from the first alarm reset one message after 30,000 wash cycles from the subsequent resets in case of active maintenance warning, the display will show the maintenance request message. With warning active, the display will remain backlit. After having performed the maintenance and replaced the detergent and rinse aid tubes, you can reset the alarm: 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 61 Partial Cycle Counter and tap on the reset key to reset the alarm. You will be asked to enter the code Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow 37

DISPLAY SENSITIVITY The sensitivity of the display and of the colour button changes according to the dishwasher status and the degree of humidity on the glass: the display sensitivity is halved during the washing phase, so you must press harder on the screen to use it the display sensitivity is cancelled during the rinsing phase, so the display cannot be used. The display goes back to normal operation only after opening the door if the display is very wet, the sensitivity gradually decreases to limit the interferences of water with the touch screen. Clean and dry the glass surface to go back to normal operation. Touch operation check Enter the following menu to activate a test procedure to check correct operation of all touch keys. Note to interrupt the test it is required to power cycle the dishwasher. 6- Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) 7- Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password The dishwasher goes into TEST mode and displays 8 squares that correspond to the 8 touch keys and a central bar that represents the RGB colour key. A value is displayed in the box and in the bar, which corresponds to the signal perceived by the touch screen, and the indication of whether the key is Off, hence with signal value less than 10) or On, hence with signal value higher than 10). This lets you check whether the touch display is receiving signals from the outside, or if it is working regularly. Note to exit the test procedure it is required to disconnect the dishwasher from the mains. 38

The display sensitivity can be changed from the technical menu 1- Access the technical menu by proceeding as follows: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed until item no.68 Touch Mode and change display sensitivity with keys + and -. The settings are 0 (standard sensitivity) 1 2 (lower sensitivity). if it is set to 2, display sensitivity remains standard for the first 60sec. after powering on the dishwasher. If after 60 seconds sensitivity should be too low (impossible to press the keys), it is recommended to power off the dishwasher, power it on again and access the technical menu, then set it at 1 3- Exit the menu by pressing and holding the back arrow 39

DEFINED ALARMS The following is a list of the defined alarms together with a short explanation. The alarms are not all self-restorable, namely they remain until the machine has been switched off and back on. Some serious alarms place the machine in safe mode (total block), others allow it to continue standard operation, though with limited functions. If after having performed the appropriate checks and having switched the machine off and back on, the alarm appears again, contact our technical service. Wait for the Wi-Fi connection to return, if the problem persists replace the display and reactivate the connection procedure. 41

ERROR 20 The overtemperature alarm can also occur due to causes outside the malfunction of some component 1- Water mains pressure very low or lack of water: during the rinse phase, if the dishwasher is fed with cold water the boiler heating is forced regardless of the boiler temperature. If there is no water or the inlet pressure is insufficient to cool the boiler, the temperature can excessively rise generating the error Temperature setting too high: by setting the boiler temperature with values above 80 C, by inertia the temperature could rise generating the error 20. We recommend applying heatsink compound on the boiler probe to improve the thermal exchange between probe and boiler. In the event of boiler overtemperature, the dishwasher will automatically cool the boiler by running three 5 second cold rinse cycles spaced by 10 second intervals. If at the end of the cooling cycle the temperature returns within the specified values, the dishwasher will resume normal operation. Otherwise, it will block and the display will show the message HIGH TEMPERATURE 42

WARNINGS It can happen that the following warnings appear on the display during dishwasher operation. The warning remains displayed even with machine off and the display backlight remains on. Warning Alarm Description Checks performed by the end user Maintenance required No salt* This warning appears on the expiry of the days count or of the cycles count This warning appears when the salt level in the water softener tanks decreases. Managed only for machines with built-in water softener Request intervention of a technician Add salt to the specific tank. Checks performed by repair technician Programmed maintenance required Reset partial cycle count on technical menu. No salt warning When the salt tank is filled for the first time, the no salt warning may not disappear immediately. We recommend filling the salt tank with lukewarm water to dissolve the salt faster. As soon as the salt dissolves, the water density changes allowing the float inside the tank to change position, thus resetting the warning. ENERGY SAVING After 30 minutes of inactivity, the dishwasher places itself in Energy Saving mode, lowering the tank temperature to 40 C and the boiler temperature to 60 C. In this way, the maintenance of lower temperatures compared to the operating ones allows for an energy saving. To exit the Energy Saving mode, simply press any key or open and close the door. You can adjust the stand-by time before the dishwasher enters the energy saving mode, increasing it to 60 minutes or decreasing it until excluded: 1- Access the technical menu by following the procedure: Switch the dishwasher off (Stand-by displayed) Tap on the Menu icon Enter the password Proceed up to item 60 Energy Saving and change the value using the + or - keys 43

CIRCUIT BOARD REPLACEMENT Disconnect the dishwasher from the mains Disconnect the wires from the damaged circuit board Remove the HOUSING connector from the damaged circuit board HOUSING connector Reconnect the new circuit board (be careful not to invert the temperature probes) Connect the HOUSING connector to the new circuit board When the circuit board is switched on again, you will be prompted to enter a code Code to be entered Dishwasher range code (determined by the HOUSING connector) 44
