2 The fees related to TIR and TER issuance are borne by the exporter or importer. Fees 1) FOB below USD 60,000 = minimum USD 270 2) FOB value USD 60,001 to 200,000 = 0.40 % or USD 270 whichever is higher 3) FOB value USD 200,001 to 1,000,000 = USD 800 plus 0.25% above USD 200,000 4) FOB value USD 1,000,001 and above = USD 2800 plus 0.10% above USD 1,000,000 Note : The above fees does not include VAT/Taxes, Loading Supervision & Container sealing, Travelling charges, Sampling charges, Testing charges, and these values may vary in certain countries. 2. VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Inspection Purpose: Product identification and verification that requirements not covered by the testing (e.g. marking, labelling, packaging) are fulfilled Labelling requirements: It is required that goods destined to the State of Kuwait should be labelled in Arabic or both Arabic and English in accordance with the legislations and the nature of the product. Testing Test reports: only test reports from the following entities will be considered: SGS Laboratories Accredited Laboratories ( with copy of accreditation) Laboratories recognized in by Public Authority of Industry (PAI) (with copy of registration) STANDARDS Applicable standards: Technical Regulations issued and enforced in Kuwait KSS (Kuwaiti Standard Specification) GSO (Standardization Organization for GCC) International Standards (ISO, IEC ) National Standards (NF, BS, DIN ) TIR ISSUANCE Documents required for Technical Inspection Report (TIR) issuance: Completed Request for Certification (RFC) Manufacturer s/seller s declaration Test Reports Inspection report Final Invoice Other documents: When applicable and/or relevant, the following documents may also be requested: TER issued by SGS Quality management system certificates (e.g. ISO 9001) Factory records on tests performed by the manufacturer Copies of lab accreditations

PRODUCT INFORMATION 3.1 Regulated Products The Regulated Products have been classified into (2) classes: Process Manufactured Products: These products are characterized by susceptibility to change in their final nature as a result of probable changes in the nature of the raw materials used and the manufacturing process controls, whereby production is organized in batches. As such, these products are classified as high risk products requiring frequent verification of conformity.
