3 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST PURCHASE OF LOT 517 CNR. CARPENTER/VAUX STREETS, ONGERUP The Shire of Gnowangerup are seeking expressions of interest from person/groups interested in purchasing Lot 517 Carpenter/Vaux Streets, Ongerup. Lot 517 is 1,285m² in area and was previously the Ongerup Police Station and Courthouse. The property has access to electricity, water supply, bottled gas and telecommunications. The buildings are serviced with an onsite effluent disposal system. The property is sold in an as is condition. The property is presently being rezoned to Residential by the Shire to facilitate its future redevelopment for housing purposes. The market value established in the valuation report prepared for the Shire in June 2017 was $50,000. Expressions of Interest shall be in writing and addressed to Shelley Pike - Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Gnowangerup 28 Yougenup Road, Gnowangerup WA 6535 and must be received by 2pm on Friday 8 December The expression shall include details on the purchaser and the amount offered (ex GST). 4 Bonnies Fruit Mince Pies Nearly time for Christmas cooking at the CRC here's the first recipe to make!! Pastry 1 dessert spoon icing sugar 1 cup plain flour ¼ cup custard powder ½ cup SR flour ¼ cup cornflour 4 oz butter Squeeze lemon juice Water if needed Filling 1 jar fruit mince ½ cup currants or sultanas ½ cup mixed fruit 1 granny smith apple grated Mix pastry ingredients all together adding a little water if needed. Combine all filling ingredients. Cut rounds to fit muffin tray or similar, add a spoonful of filling. Top with a lid. Bake in moderate oven approx 20 minutes. Filling 1 jar fruit mince ½ cup currants or sultanas ½ cup mixed fruit 1 granny smith apple grated

5 PUBLIC NOTICE BULK RUBBISH COLLECTION The Shire will provide a bulk rubbish collection for households on the following dates: Gnowangerup - Monday 4 th December 2017 Borden & Ongerup Tuesday 5 th December 2017 Items for collection (refer to the table below) must be placed in a neat, tidy pile on the verge no earlier than Saturday 11 th November All items not collected by Council. Must be removed from your verge immediately. ACCEPTABLE ITEMS FOR COLLECTION Household furniture. ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE COLLECTED Household rubbish. White goods: stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers etc. Fridges & Freezers: doors MUST be removed before placing on verge Air conditioning units General junk: small electrical goods, carpet, lino, Mattresses etc. NOTE: all electrical items MUST have their plugs removed E Waste: computers, televisions, DVD players Unwanted pine Building waste: bricks, rubble, sand, cement Asbestos cement products Gas cylinders Car parts: tyres, batteries etc. Household hazardous waste: oil, pesticides, solvents, chemicals, paint, sprays Glass: windows, doors, sheet glass, shower screens Flammable products Green waste: to be sorted & separated from other items PLEASE NOTE: Council will not collect goods outside any of the following: industrial or commercial business, empty/vacant lots, rights of way, lanes, reserves or parks.
