DESCRIPTION 2013 DD DEFECT LIST 3.01 SHIP SIDE DIRECT SEA VALVES AND INTERMEDIATE VALVES SCOPE OF WORK a) Valves to be opened up, overhauled and surveyed by Classification Society Surveyor and boxed back after renewing the gland packing, jointing, nuts & bolts/studs (Material SS), etc. Body to be internally cleaned and painted with corrosion resistant paint. Stainless steel nuts and bolts to be used for ship side valve b) Few valves may need machining/ skimming of valve seat/ lids etc. The Prussian Blue Test is required on machined surfaces. Refer Attachment 1 A Unit Rate Total amount No discount c) Few valves may require spindle replacement. The bidder to quote for replacement of spindles for all the valves. Spindles for replacement are given as a separate job d) Few valves may require complete replacement. The bidder to quote for replacement of all the valves. Valves for replacement are given as a separate job The list of all the valves is annexed as Attachment I All valves are to be identified and marked before undertaking the work. Yard to quote machining/-skimming charges per valve separately. Yard to quote lump sum cost of each valve for servicing/ overhauling & replacement as per the enclosed list. EVALUATION The evaluation shall be as referred above. 2 4 nos D/F sea water Cooling line flap v/vs to renew size mm,butterfly v/vs (both condenser inlet and outlet v/vs ) CLEANING OF SEA CHESTS The detail of sea chest is annexed as Attachment-II a) To remove gratings of sea chest. To clean them properly and paint as per ship s painting scheme. Few of gratings of sea chests may require renewal, the bidder to quote for replacement of all sea chest gratings. b) To clean the sea chest thoroughly and grit blast to SA 2.5 / sweeping and to paint as per ship s bottom painting scheme. c) To ultrasonically test the condition of sea suction pipes between sea chest and low/high Sea suction valves.(imp) d) To renew 6 Nos, 10.6 Kgs. Al anodes (size: 515 mm x 120 mm) in sea chests. e) To re-fit the Gratings with new bolts, nuts, washers and secure. Material specification Stainless Steel. Around 44 nos of bolts of size 10 mm (dia) x 40 mm (Length) shall be required. Yard to quote lump sum cost for each of the item as per Scope of Work. Yard to quote for supply of Al anodes 3.03 SEA SUCTION FILTERS The list of sea suction filters is annexed as Attachment-III. a) Filter cover and filter element to be removed and cleaned. Filter casing to be cleaned. Corrosion resistant paint is to be applied on filter casing & filter cover. Filter element and cover to be boxed up with new O-ring/ joints etc. Filter casing to be renewed, if required. Size: D= 0.75Mtr X Height- 1.2 Mtr (approx)

3 b) To inspect the pipe piece between high and low sea suctions, clean from inside, gauge and renew if required. Length mm x 450 mm OD, with butt pieces for other suctions, 250 mm long, OD- 300 MM, 250 mm and 115 mm each c) Cathelco make anodes (12 nos) in Engine room (low & high) sea suction and LP room sea suction to be renewed. (Anodes Ship supply). Yard to quote lump sum cost for each of the items of the scope of work separately. To quote for renewal of High/Low sea suction filter body of size: D= 0.75Mtr X Height- 1.2 Mtr (approx) 3.04 CLEANING & PRESSURE TESTING OF COOLERS The list of coolers is annexed as Attachment-IV. All the coolers from Engine room/ Machinery spaces are to be taken to yard s workshop for necessary cleaning and pressure testing as per the scope of work. Ship s E/R does not have a sky light, therefore, all removals to be done through BT room after opening a bulkhead door in E/R AC platform and 2 deck head openings in fridge handling room on fore- castle deck. AT room has separate deck head opening on main deck. All these openings are required to be closed back after use and made water tight using new gaskets, nut bolts etc. Obstacles in way of transportation to be removed and refitted.( racks. Spares boxes, anchor winch power pack units etc ) All adopters and rings required for pressure testing to be provided by the yard. AA LOCATION : ENGINE ROOM 1 LOW TEMPERATURE COOLERS 2 Nos. port LT cooler to be presented for survey a) To disconnect the freshwater inlet/outlet connections dia 200mm.

4 b) To remove end covers. To remove the water box after disconnecting SW inlet/ outlet pipes. To crop and renew sea water inlet / outlet partition plate in water box (20 X 12 X 1 size). To renew MS taper ring OD= mm, ID=530 mm, Thickness=20 mm. To clean cooler tubes, end covers and water box. Inside surfaces of water box and dish end cover to be grit blasted to SA 2.0 and applied with (Yard supplied) Belzona ceramic coating. Anti corrosive paint to be applied on outside surfaces c) To pressure test the cooler to 5 bar using necessary end rings/ blanks. Leaking tubes (if any) to be renewed (tube size OD-11.1mm,ID = 9.5 mm, Mat : Cu-Ni) and cooler to be repressure tested, Consider renewal of 20 Nos of tubes. d) Aluminium anode to be renewed on fixed end covers. Total 2 nos. size: 80 x 50 x 120 mm (width x height x length) (ANODES YARD SUPPLY) e) To fit back the water box, End covers and connect all pipelines renewing gaskets & rubber rings. f)make and supply 2 nos MS dome covers as per sample with a stub piece and blank for cleaning purpose without opening the whole cover. (Diameter of the cleaning hole should be minimum 6 ). Size- Outer flange OD- 670 mm, Dome- ID- 660 mm,depth- 255 mm, thickness- 8 mm, Flange thickness, 20 mm, MS fabricated. Anode size- 100mm dia, 60mm height, two no's.to renew. Yard to quote lump sum cost for each cooler as per the scope of work. Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 20 tubes are to be considered./cooler Yard to quote separately for fixing baffle plates on the tube stacks of both existing coolers. *Yard to quote separately for Belzona ceramic coating to be applied on inside of all four end covers and for Anticorrosive paint to be applied on outside surfaces. 2 H.T. COOLERS -2 NOS a) To open end covers. To remove the inlet/outlet SW lines. To disconnect the fresh water inlet/outlet connections. Cooler tubes and End covers to be cleaned.

5 b) Cooler to be pressure tested to 5 bar using necessary end rings/ blanks. Leaking tubes (if any) to be renewed (OD: 11.1mm, I.D.: 9.5mm.) and cooler to be re-pressure tested. c) Aluminium anode to be renewed on dish end covers. (Yard supplied) Belzona ceramic coating to be applied on inside of End covers. Anticorrosive paint to be applied on outside surfaces. Cooler cover size- flange 320 mm square x 35 mm thick, Cover depth- 70 mm, thickness- 8 mm Yard to quote lump sum cost for each cooler as per the scope of work. Quote to include cost of BELEZONA ceramic coating & chemicals used for cleaning Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 20 tubes are to be considered. Also separately quote for fabrication/ casting of cover 3 AUXILIARY ENGINE LUBE OIL COOLERS 4 Nos. A/E#4 L.O.cooler to present for survey a) To remove from place and clean chemically on lube oil side and pressure test the same to 5 bar in presence of Classification Society Surveyor. Size 330 mm dia X 1350 mm long. b) After pressure testing coolers to be fitted back with new gaskets and O-rings. Yard to quote lump sum cost for each cooler as per the scope of work including the cost of chemicals used for cleaning. Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 10 tubes are to be considered. 4 AUXILIARY ENGINE AIR COOLERS - 8 Nos. a) Coolers to be removed from place and cleaned chemically on air and watersides, and to pressure test to 5 bar in presence of Classification Society Surveyor. Size: 400 x 440 x 400 mm b) After pressure testing the coolers to be fitted back with new gasket and o-rings. Cooler cover size- 445 x 400 mm x 110 deep rectangular with water inlet and outlet connections NOTE :

Yard to quote separately for cover casting/ fabricating 5 FWD ANCHOR WINCH COOLER 1 NO. a) To disconnect and remove the cooler and blank oil lines. b) To clean and pressure test the coolers (TP=15 bar) Yard to quote lump sum cost as per the scope of work. Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 4 tubes are to be considered. BB LOCATION : BOW THRUSTER ROOM 1 BOW THRUSTERS MAIN DRIVE MOTOR AIR COOLERS (2 NOS.) Cooling of the motor windings is achieved by a system incorporating one cooler stack, which has specially designed fins and tubes. This cooler stack is cooled by seawater. Air circulation is achieved by shaft-mounted fan. a) Cooler is to be removed from place and inspected. The internals and externals are to be cleaned with suitable chemicals. Fins are to be cleaned by compressed air jet. b) Cooler to be pressure tested at 5 bar. At the time of pressure testing if any leakage is noticed through tubes same to be rectified either through brazing or renewal and pressure tested again. Tube size approx. 12 mm dia. c) The (Yard supplied) Belzona ceramic coating to be applied on the cooler end cover distance pieces after grit blasting to SA 2.0. Anti corrosive paint to be applied on outside surfaces. Few end covers may require renewal. Yard to quote for the same. Size- 0.25MTR X 1MTR with inlet/outlet pipes with flange of 50mm dia. d) After pressure testing coolers to be fitted back with new gaskets and O rings. NOTE : Yard to quote lump sum cost for each cooler as per the scope of work.

7 Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 10 tubes are to be considered. CC LOCATION : AZIMUTH THRUSTER ROOM 1 AZIMUTH THRUSTERS MAIN DRIVE MOTOR AIR COOLERS - 2 NOS. Cooling of the motor windings is achieved by a system incorporating one cooler stack, which has specially designed fins and tubes. This cooler stack is cooled by seawater. Air circulation is achieved by shaft-mounted fan. a) Cooler is to be removed from place and inspected. The internals and externals are to be cleaned with suitable chemicals. Anti corrosive paint to be applied on outside surfaces. c) Pressure tests the tubes at 5 bar and box back in place with new gaskets/ joints. Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 10 tubes are to be considered. 2 PORT & STBD AZIMUTH THRUSTER LUBE / HYD OIL COOLERS - 4 Nos. a) Coolers to be cleaned & pressure tested to 5 bar. Leaking tubes, if any, to be renewed. b) Seawater Inlet/outlet end covers to be renewed. The inside of the covers to be applied with (Yard supplied) Belzona ceramic coating after grit blasting to SA 2.0. Anti corrosive paint to be applied on out side surfaces. ( Total 8 no covers, material- casting APS) c) After pressure testing coolers to be fitted back with new gaskets and O-rings. imp- az. Thruster L.O. coolers need renewal- 2 nos

For evaluation 10 tubes are to be considered. 3 AFT ANCHOR WINCH COOLER 1 NOS. a) To disconnect and remove the coolers and blank oil lines. b) To clean and pressure test the coolers (TP=15 bar) If required covers to be renewed. Yard to quote separately for cover renewal. Size-50 mm Yard to quote lump sum cost for each cooler as per the scope of work. Yard to quote tube renewal separately for evaluation 4 tubes are to be considered 3.05 MAINTENANCE OF BOW THRUSTERS - 2 NOS. DETAILS: Make : M/s. Schottel Lips B.V Type CT 09H-1DP Propeller Dia 1800mm : RPM : 353 kw : 736 No. of Blades 4 Tunnel Dia : 1835mm Length : 1800 mm Wall Thickness : 20 mm SCOPE OF WORK FOR BT No.1 & 2 a) The system oil and seal oil to be drained and disposed off. 2 Nos. Hydraulic oil tanks (500 ltrs each) and 2 Nos. seal oil tanks (50 ltrs each) are to be cleaned from inside. New oil (Ship supply) to be filled in the tanks. b) 4Nos of propeller blades of each thruster are to be removed, inspected, faired, polished and varnished. If found beyond repairs same to be renewed (Ship supply). Propeller blades to be fitted back using new seals etc (Ship supply). c) Propeller blades and pitch movement to be checked and adjusted.

9 2 OVERHAUL OF LGB - 2 Nos. a) To disconnect and remove the Lower Gear Box from place and shift to workshop with support frame. b) LGB to be dismantled. All internal parts to be cleaned examined and surveyed. MPI test to be carried out on running parts LGB to be assembled with new bearings and seals. Horizontal Shaft required some building up and machining where seal rests. Spacers supplied by ship will require machining for proper fitting. All spares ship supply. c) To install back LGB in its place and secure. d) Final Testing and trial to be carried out. Complete job is to be carried out under supervision and advice of OEM s Service Engineers who will be arranged by the owner and they should be allowed to work in yard at no extra cost. The drawing of BT is annexed at Attachment-IX. Yard to quote lump sum cost for each of the thrusters as per complete scope of work. # Quote to include job of sealing all B/T electrical/electronic panels- 1Mx2.5M and 1.5Mx 1.5M- two each (total 04 no s) to avoid ingress of sand dust MAINTENANCE OF 2 NOS. AZIMUTH THRUSTERS (PORT & STBD.) DETAILS: Make : M/s. Schottel Lips B.V. Type : S 1500 / 1502 ZSCP Propeller Dia 2250 mm : kw : 1470 AT 1000 rpm No. of Blades 4 Steering speed : 2.5 rpm 1 FLOATING DRIVE SHAFT Qty: 2 Nos. a) To disconnect from place and clean. Same to fit back using new grease EP1 (Ship supply) and tighten all bolts. b) port A/T Floating Shaft to be renewed if required (Ship supply). c) To check & record the alignment between motor shaft and horizontal drive shaft of upper gear box and adjust. 2 Upper Gear Box Qty: 2 Nos.

10 a) To drain the oil from upper gearbox in a tank and dispose off. b) To check the backlash of gears and record. MPI test to be carried out on running parts. The UGB to be disconnected, removed from place and transported to machine shop for overhaul. c) To dismantle completely, clean, examine all parts and present for survey. d) To assemble UGB using new bearings and seals etc (Ship supply) and fit in place. All pipe connections to be made using new soft iron ferrules. 3 Stem Section (Port & Stbd) Qty: 2 Nos. a) To drain the oil in a tank and dispose off. b) Check lower seal for leaks before removing stem section. Stem section of both thrusters to be removed from place after disconnecting. Main deck will have to be cut in two places above thruster to take out stem sections. Size of cuttings mm x 2100 mm Proper cover to be provided to prevent ingress of water and dust to the AT room through the cut openings. Temporary railings to be provided around the opening as safety measure c) All parts of the stem sections to be cleaned and all seals to be renewed. Hydraulic hoses to be renewed if found damaged. d) To box back stem sections. e) To weld back the plate cut on deck and to test water tightness using water jet. 4 Lower Gear Box Qty : 2 Nos. a) To drain the oil in a tank & dispose off. b) To remove all four propeller blades. Clean, inspect, fair up, polish and varnish. MPI test to be carried out on running parts. If found beyond repair same to be renewed (Ship supply). Propeller blades to be fitted back using new seals etc (Ship supply c) Propeller rope guard of each thruster to be removed & cleaned, any fouling on the shaft to be cleared and all exposed area to be painted as per ship s painting scheme. d) Kort Nozzle to be disconnected from place and lowered to facilitate removal of LGB. Same to be fitted back and connected. e) To fabricate a frame (2000 mm x 1500 mm x 30 mm plate) required for LGB lowering.

11 To support LGB on the above frame, disconnect and shift to workshop f) LGB to be completely overhauled and surveyed by Classification Society Surveyors. LGB to be assembled with new bearings, shaft seal etc. g) Blade carriers to be renewed (Ship supply). This shall require some machining. h) LGB to be fitted in place. i) Rope guards to be fitted back and secured. j) To fill-up new oil (Ship supply) in inter seal spaces. Plugs to be fitted back using new copper washers (Ship supply) k) Kortz Nozzles are to be tested hydrostatically. In case of any leakage, same to be checked and rectified by welding or renewal of corroded section of plates. Kort Nozzle Inside surface is to be applied with float coat and outer surface is to be grit blasted to SA 2.5/sweeping standard and painted as per ship s painting scheme. m) Propeller Blades Pitch movement and Steering to be checked, adjusted and recorded. n) To overhaul 2 nos counter balancing valve blocks. Job involves removal after pipe disconnection of v/v blocks, renewal of seals of counter balancing v/vs ( 4 nos), Relief v/vs ( 4 nos), Check v/vs ( 4 nos), Flow control v/v seals (8 nos) and 8 nos Dawty washers of hose connections. (Size : 55 mm x 45 mm x 1.5 mm) To renew 8 Nos. flow control valve unit sealing O-rings (2no's O- rings per valve, Yard supply)) o) TO renew 4 no of hoses on C.B.. v/v block for pitch and az. For both thrusters working pr. 250 bar (yard supply) p) To renew fittings with ferrules, dowty washers for hydraulic lines of pitch and azimuth circuit of both Azimuth thrusters. Pipe Dia. -- No. Of fittings (approx)-12mm no s, 38mm no s, 16mm, 20mm & 28mm no s each q) To renew four hydraulic lines with ferrules and fittings between C.B. valve block and hydraulic motors- 04 no s for both thrusters. Length- 1.5mtr, Dia- 1 Pipe- ship supply. Ferrules & fittings- Yard supply. ( All dawty washers yard to supply)

12 r) 2 Nos. header tanks (cap: 500 ltr each) and 2 Nos. hyd oil tanks (cap: 1,000 ltr each) to be drained in a tank and dirty oil to be disposed off. All tanks to be cleaned from inside.. New oil (Ship supply) is to be filled in. Both tanks man hole covers to be fitted back renewing gasket and damaged studs and nuts (Size: 12 mm SS studs and nuts, Qty: 24 Nos. On inspection if header tank plating found corroded, defective portion to be renewed. Yard to quote per Sq. Mtr area or in lump sum Complete job is to be carried out under supervision and advice of OEM s Service Engineers who will be arranged by the owner and they should be allowed to work in yard at no extra cost. The drawing of Azimuth Thruster is annexed at Attachment - X. Yard to quote separately for each of the components of the scope of work for each thruster. Final Testing and trial to be carried out. # Quote to include job of sealing all A/T electrical/electronic panels- 2Mx2.5M 04 panels and four tank vents to avoid ingress of sand dust MAINTENANCE OF AUX ENGINE 1,3 & 4. DETAILS Make Wartsila : Type 12 V 22 MD : Capacity 1500 KW : SCOPE OF WORK : 1 AUX ENGINE Nos. 1, 3 & HR ROUTINE TO CARRY OUT a) To carry out 8000 hrs routines. As per attachment- XI b) Turbochargers of 1,3,&4 Aux. engines to be overhauled. (2 in each engines) Type ABB VTR (same bearings to be used ) c) After 8000 hrs routine successful trial to be shown to the satisfaction of ship staff All spares except nut & bolts shall be Ship supply. Complete job is to be carried out under supervision and advice of ship s staff. A copy of 8000 hrs service routine is annexed at Attachment- V. Yard to quote lump sum cost for the complete scope of work.

13 2 AUX. ENGINES hour routine a) One unit of each banks to be dismantled and inspected all parts to be cleaned and boxed back. b) Turbochargers to be overhauled (2 in each engines) same bearings to be used Type: ABB VTR c ) Sump oil to be drained sump to be cleaned and fresh oil to be taken. 3 AUX. ENGINE 1,2,3,4 a) Aux. Engine. 1&4 Bottom end brg bolts to be renewed b) All cams to be inspected for wear and tear. c) All engines Crank shaft deflections to be taken d) All engine lube oil and fuel oil filters to renew Above mentioned jobs to be carried out under OEM service engineer supervision Note Yard to quote lump sum cost for the each complete scope of work A) MAINTENANCE OF DECK CRANE Make : Hydralift. Type Telescopic Boom (square) type. : Boom length Meters. : Capacity 2.5 Ton at 15 Mtrs. and 1Ton at 30 Mtrs. : No. of Telescope: 3 nos. Max. Working Hyd. Pressure: 180 bar. a) Jib cylinder to be disconnected and brought down. & overhaul b) To disconnect and remove the whole boom assembly to a suitable location in the yard. c) To disconnect & remove all 3 Nos. telescopes from the main jib and place on blocks separately. Same to be cleaned and inspected. e) All the four outer surfaces of the main boom to be grit blasted to SA 2.0/ sweeped and painted as per ship s painting scheme. Winch drum, motor and wire rope to be removed before grit blasting and to fit back the same after the job. Area: 60 sq. m. approx. Length of boom: 15mt Width: 500 mm Height: 1000 mm

14 f) Removed items to keep covered / protected from dust. g) All the three Telescopes to be assembled and fitted inside the main jib and connected. h) To renew the thrust pads (Ship supply) fitted on the main jib and telescopes, rectangular pads should be fitted on top and bottom and circular pads at sides i) To fit back boom assembly with old jib bolt and bearings j) To renew. hydraulic hoses as required (Ship supply). k) Hyd. tank oil to be drained and disposed off. Tank manhole cover to be opened, inside space to be cleaned and renew oil filter element. New oil (Ship supply) to be filled in and manhole cover to be fitted back renewing the joint and bolts (size 12 mm dia, no. of bolts 12, material SS) m) Try out the hyd. pump and all operations of the crane. To test the crane to proof load after all repairs and endorse chain register. Certificate to be issued by the Authorized agency for load test at i) Boom length 15M Tons, ii) Boom length 30M Tons Diagram of the crane is annexed at Attachment-VII. Complete job is to be carried out under supervision and advice of OEM s Service Engineers who will be arranged by the owner and they should be allowed to work in yard at no extra cost. Hoisting winch with wire and hook, fitted on top of the main jib, to be removed from place and fitted back after the painting of the jib. Yard to quote lump sum cost for the complete scope of Work MAINTENANCE OF BURNER BOOM: a) To drain oil from tank, clean, renew filter and oil ( ship supply). b) To drain oil from slew gear box, flush and take fresh oil. c) TO check the tight ness of slew ring,slew gear box, and foundation column d) To check the operations of the burner boom. e) To check hoses for damage and renew if reqd. Note: All jobs to be carried out under the supervision of OEM engineer. All spares and oils ship s supply 3.1 A) MAINTENANCE OF TAUT WIRE WINCH (Stbd) Make BANDAK. :

Pressure: 180 bar Attachment viii To remove winch drum, inspect for damage/wear and tear of shaft, keyway, flanges, securing bolts, threaded holes, bearing, seals, and gear wheels, drive belts etc. If required shaft, its keyway and flange to be renewed by the yard as no ready spares available. Threaded holes on the drum may require filling and re-tapping and fit back. OR TAUT WIRE SYSTEM TO BE REPLACED BY NEW ONE ( SHIP SUPPLY) 3.11 DOMESTIC FRIDGE SYSTEM DETAILS Comp. Nissin Refrigeration and Engineering Ltd TYPE- 6C552A-F, RKS-10F Referigerant-R-22 a) To collect system gas (Freon 22) in gas bottles ( yard to arrange) b) To overhaul Compressor no-2 (port) completely c) To overhaul the heads of the compressor no-1(stbd) by overhauling valve plates, overhauling un-loaders and renewing all gaskets d) To pressurize the system with N 2 on LP & HP sides including condensers (HP=17 bar, LP=10 bar).
