1 CORRELATION OF USE MARKING AND PRODUCT IDENTITY TEXT FOR NEW TYPE R LISTING MARKS The service for products in this file is transitioning from Type L to Type R with transition to be completed by December 31, In conjunction with the implementation of the new Type R Listing Mark Text covered on the Listing Mark Data Page(s) which have been added to this File, it is required that the use marking and product identity described below is employed on each model at the time the new Type R Marks are introduced. The products are eligible to use the applicable Type L Listing Marks covered in this Section General until December 31, Each unit shall be marked with the specific use marking as covered in the section for the unit and the applicable additional use marking indicated in the table below. Where the product is comprised entirely of labeled subassemblies, the use marking is to be applied to a subassembly used exclusively for the product and employed in every installation. [The subassembly which employs all the required marking is identified in the marking portion of the section for the product.] Use marking is not required for the remaining labeled subassemblies. With respect to Subassemblies, only the models that are referenced later in this Section General are eligible to bear the Listing Mark. The following table correlates the new required use marking with the product identity (Listing Mark text) of the previous Type L Listing Mark. Please refer to the Type L Listing Mark section shown below this table for information to assist in the use of this table. If more than one product identity was previously applicable, the new use marking texts shall be combined (See below for examples).
