Sincerely, M&M Lumber MarketReport: Market Update: Gypsum: No changes on the gypsum market and no price movement. Roofing: AtlasRoofing has announced a 6-8% price increase for May 1 citing escalating health insurance costs, raw materials and overall increased operating costs. Tamko has announced a 5-8% price increase effective May 1. Tamko Building Products now has Heritage Hip and RidgeIR (Impact Resistant) shingles to complementtheir Heritage IR product line. These Hip andridge shingles are available in 7 colors andhave a self-sealing strip of asphalt to help provide wind resistance. CertainTeedhas announced a 5% price increase effective May 5th. Leadtimes have extended due to the price increaseannouncements. Tarco, the manufacture of felt & leak barrier products has announced a 7-10% increase for May 1. Some of our 50thAnniversary trivia... Add some color by painting it!

3 Page 3 of 7 Rebar: Just this week, the US Department of Commerce announced their decision and levied tariffs on the Mexican and Turkish steel mills that have been dumping rebar into the U.S. for the last several years. Turkishmills were barely touched with a 2.64% tariff, while most of the Mexican mills were hit with a 20.59% tariff, and one as high as66.70%. Lumber: Themarket hasn't changed much in the last 30 days. Compared to last year at this time, lumber prices are very depressed and themarket remains flat. Wide length lumber has dropped slightly as well. Poplar and red oakdimensional lumber have both taken a 10% priceincrease in the last 30 days. Plywood/Panels: The market shows to have a lot of pinned up energy waiting to let loose but it hasbeen sluggish in getting going causing hit andmiss in the market prices. OSB hasturned slightly but is still very depressed andis still overproduced. There is muchanticipation for the next 30 days with the warmer weather that many project will get off the ground and prices may see some uptick. Other Vendors: -We have beenadvised that the trucking industry hasexperienced an acute shortage of drivers which has affected service of transportation of product to customers. This shortage in drivers potential could affect freight rates and service times to receive material. Railcars arebeginning to have some shortages and longer leadtimes due to many people changing over to therail from driver shortages. -Evergrain decking prices have taken a price increase.evergrain has also dropped their 2x4 railing, their 2x2 balusters, and their 4x4 post sleeves. -As noted last month, LP took a 5-7% price increaseapril 1 on their Smartside products. -Dow Styrofoam has announced a 6% price increaseeffective April 28. Join in the Facebook fun: At the Wood Pile We have 38 pieces of Atlas 2.0" Nailbase looking for a good home. 2.0" Nailbase is 1.5" closed-cell polyiso insulation board bonded to 7/16" OSB on the top and it is used for roof insulation. We have it ready to sell at $22.00 a sheet, well below the market cost to try to move. New Products

4 Page 4 of 7 -Priceannouncements have been made by three of the insulation manufactures. Johns Manville will take a 12-15% price increase May 30. Owens Corning will take a 12-15% price increasejune 1. CertainTeed will take a 12-15% price increase June2. -The poly market is steady as suppliers implemented aprice increase but the demand was weak and thesupplier had to give up most of their increase. Wade rounded out our losers in 3rd place. Congrats to everyone working on a healthier lifestyle!! M&M Lumber has two newly weds this month!! Both JoJo and Javier got married this month...no not to each other. We wish them both a lifetime of happiness!! Just in time for spring gardening, we have added several new items for trimming bushes, cutting limbs, digging in the garden, and planting flowers. Check out all the new garden trowels, hand cultivators, shears and anvils that we have added into inventory in the front northwest corner of the store.
