4 Vantaggi Acciaio Inossidabile Stainless Steel Advantages L acciaio inossidabile è un materiale noto per le sue caratteristiche di: Durabilità Gli elementi di lega dell acciaio inossidabile formano sulla superficie un sottile, trasparente strato passivante che si autorigenera immediatamente in presenza dell ossigeno contenuto nell acqua o nell aria continuando a proteggere la superficie del materiale; Riciclabilità Scegliere l acciaio inossidabile significa coniugare prestazioni e protezione delle nostre risorse naturali, infatti l industria dell acciaio ha un eccellente primato ambientale: economizza nell uso dell energia primaria risparmia le risorse non rinnovabili riduce gli scarti. Igienicità, resistenza alla corrosione L acciaio inossidabile é facile da pulire, per questa ragione viene normalmente scelto nelle industrie alimentari e del catering. Naturalmente tutti i materiali usati in casa hanno bisogno di manutenzione e l acciaio inossidabile non fa eccezione a questa regola. L acciaio può essere facilmente pulito e l eccellente resistenza alla corrosione è di estrema importanza. Tuttavia è molto importante eseguire questa operazione con cura e tramite l uso di prodotti adatti che non ne danneggino il film passivante peculiare del materiale. Riciclability The selection of stainless steel brings performance and the protection of our natural resources together, actually the stainless steel industry has an excellent environmental track record: use primary energy sparingly save non-renewable resources reduce the waste stream Health and corrosion resistance Stainless steel are easy to be cleaned and for this reason they have been normally chosen in the food and catering industry Obviously materials used normally at home must have all the necessary maintenances and there is no rule exception for the stainless steel. It could be easily cleaned and the excellent corrosion resistance is extremely important. However is extremely important to carry out the maintenance operation with care and through using suitable cleansing products that don t damage the passive layer distinguishing the material.

5 Come pulire l acciaio? How to Clean Stainless Steel? Per mantenere le superfici in acciaio inossidabile in buone condizioni, è necessaria un ordinaria manutenzione e pulizia, così che l aspetto estetico, ma soprattutto la resistenza alla corrosione non siano compromessi. Suggerimenti per la pulizia Spruzzi di malta e tracce di cemento: possono essere trattate con una soluzione contenente una piccola quantità d acido fosforico. Risciacquare con acqua deionizzata ed asciugare. Polvere di ferro creatasi durante le operazioni di saldatura, taglio, foratura e molatura si arrugginisce velocemente quindi deve essere rimossa immediatamente poiché, oltre ad arrugginirsi, può intaccare lo strato passivante dell acciaio inossidabile. I prodotti più sicuri ed efficaci sono l acqua saponata o un detergente blando. Per le macchie più resistenti sono adatti prodotti in crema non aggressivi. Il Cif, ad esempio, può risultare particolarmente efficace. Calcare: se i prodotti in crema non sono sufficienti, si suggerisce di trattare il calcare con una soluzione che contenga acqua molto calda e il 25%(1/4) di aceto, aspettando che si sciolga. Poi, risciacquare abbondantemente con acqua e bicarbonato di sodio, poi con acqua pulita ed asciugare con cura con un panno morbido. Da evitare L importante è evitare prodotti che contengono CLORURI specialmente acido cloridrico, AMMONIACA, CANDEGGINE o disinfettanti contenenti candeggina a base di acido ipoclorico. Se queste vengono accidentalmente versate su qualsiasi superficie inox, devono essere risciacquate abbondantemente con acqua pulita; prodotti usati per pulire l argento. Spugne e/o prodotti abrasivi. Some routine maintenance and cleaning is needed to keep stainless steel surfaces in good conditions so that the aesthetics appearance and corrosion resistance are not compromised. Limescale: if cream cleanser is not enough, treat scale with a 25% solution of vinegar and mild hot water and give it some time to dissolve. Then clean with ( if possible deionised ) mild water and bicarbonate rinse and wipe dry as usual with care. To avoid It is very Important to avoid chloride-containing cleansers, especially those containing hydrochloric acids. Hypo chlorite bleachers : if applied accidentally or poured on stainless steel surfaces, should be immediately rinsed off with liberal amounts of fresh water; silver cleansers.
