2 Operation manual fog shower (W2-06/07) Seite 2 von 8 1.Technical description The dosing unit Fog shower consists of: - Controller with panel - Water armature ½ with fine filter, ball valve, solenoid valve and dosing valve 3/8 VA for fragrance concentrate - solenoid control valve 230V/AC ½ for shower (solenoid control valve 230v/AC ½ for emptying, option) - Reservoir 1,5 l for fragrance to refill with pressure switch and emptying plug - Fragrance dosing pump MPD 20 with plexi dosing head - Push-button (with control lamp, option) - Connection cable to start push-button 5m 2x0,5mm² - Connection cable for lighting (option) - Sound (Option) Completely mounted on assembly plate PP blue Measurement: 50x65x20 cm Weight: appr. 6 kg 2. Function The dosing unit Fog shower controlls a shower process including the following functions: dosing time, fragrance dosing and lightning of the cabinet. On demand, a sound effect could be played back. The adjustments of the single parameters will be effected on the following front plate:

3 Operation manual fog shower (W2-06/07) Seite 3 von 8 The shower programme is activated by the start push-button in the cabinet. The solenoid valve for the shower water is opening and the control lamp in the start push-button is lightning. The fragrance dosing starts with the adjusted dosing volume, the lightning in the the cabin is activated. (option sound). After the shower time, the solenoid valve of the shower is closing and the dosing is stopping. Afterwards, the lightning of the cabin as well as the control lamp of the pushbutton go out. If a solenoid valve is mounted for emptying the shower line, it is opening for the adjusted time. Now the shower process can be started again. Programme and test switch: With this roatory knob, every singel functin of the control unit can be tested. The function is indicated by lightning of a particular yellow LED. The dosing pump only working, when the reservoir is filled or the pressure switch is under the reservoir. Before processing the test function, the device has to be switched on the side of the housing!!! After testing the single functions, you have to switch to the operational mode: Programme and test switch operating Dosing performance in ml pro Minute, pump adjustment Hub 75% : With this rotary knob, the fragrance intensity is adjusted. Operation time head sprinklers in seconds: Adjustment of the running time for fog shower with fragrance from 10 to 100 seconds Emptying in seconds: If you are using the standard version, this program item has to be switched off. If the fog shower is delivered with an emptying valve, the adjusted time goes by the duration of the emptying line.

Installation The Fog Shower has to be mounted on a capable place near the shower: Installation proposal Fog Shower-W2 controllership 2 x 2,5 2 controllership 0,5 2 sound module (option) LED Spots (option) supply 230V controllership 0,5 2 Nozzle(s) push-button water (cold) ½ tube cutter according to DIN 1988, pr ovided by the builder At the installation the national regulations to protect the water net of pollution have to be considered (Din 1988). This means that a security combination that prevents a back floating of the water into the supply tube has to be installed. Assembly should only be effected by qualified personnel!!! - Before the transfer point of the house water conduit to the control technique, we recommend to install a fine filter by a plumber. - Before the taking into operation of the shower, the line has to be washed. This process should be mentioned by the plumber in a handover certificate. - In order to avoid lime sediments on the nozzles, we recommend to use basically softened water (4 German hardness).

Taking into operation After all tubings (½ inch) have been connected (see installation proposal) and the unit has pluged-in, the Fog Shower is ready for operation. Adjust the program switch to 0 and switch on the main switch on the side of the control housing. The main switch shines red and the operation LED green. Afterwards, all functions could be tested (see page 4). Now the single program functions have to adjusted in the demanded order. When refill the fragrance reservoir for the first time, air automatically arrived into the pump head. In order to assure a safe function of the pump, you possibly have to ventilate the pump. Therefore, the pump hose has to be removed from the dosing valve (see picture) and has to be switched to testing on the controller. At every further refill of the fragrance, the pump has not to be ventilated anymore. 5. Maintenance If the unit will be out of operation for a longer period of time we recommend to empty the complete tubing. Flush the fragrance tubing and more important the pump with water and switch-off the unit at the main switch on the right of the controller housing.
