Provide listed janitorial supplies and sundries for Rockland County Government entities. 2. REQUIREMENTS 2.1. All items must be as specified or approved equal or equivalent. 3. / WEIGHT 3.1. Bidder must submit the exact description of the packaging (ex. 12/case) of all items being bid in the actual packaging column. 4. RESTRICTIONS 4.1. Bids containing restrictions will not be acceptable unless the Rockland County Purchasing Division deems the restrictions conform to the County of Rockland requirements. 5. QUANTITY 5.1. All quantities shown are estimates on previous usage. The successful bidder will be required to furnish quantities even if different from those used whether it be more or less during the term of the contract. 6. DELIVERY 6.1. NONRESTRICTIVE USE OF BRAND NAME OR EQUAL SPECIFICATIONS 7.1. The use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics desired and are not intended to limit or restrict competition. 8. MANUFACTURER BRAND AND PART NUMBER 8.1. Actual manufacturer brand name and part numbers being bid are to be indicated in the actual brand name and product code column. Stock numbers may also be included. Vendors are to indicate actual manufacturer s part number in this column even if bidding as specified. If the actual manufacturers brand name and product code on any item line being bid is left blank, bid will be rejected These items will be used for evaluation purposes and will not be returned to the bidder unless otherwise agreed upon prior to sample submission. The evaluation of these products will be made by the user department based on trials, product review, or experience. 9. SAMPLES 9.1. SAMPLES FOR APPROVED EQUAL (ALTERNATE PRODUCTS) CONSIDERATION SHALL BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE BID OPENING OR SOONER. SAMPLES NOT RECEIVED TWO WEEKS OR SOONER THAN THE BID OPENING SHALL NOT BE EVALUATED AND DEEM NON- RESPONSIVE. Any alterations to this document made by the Offeror may be grounds for rejection of the proposal, cancellation of any subsequent award, or any legal remedies available to the County of Rockland.

There is a minimum of three (3) to four (4) County Departments that shall be purchasing off of this bid. Samples received shall be sufficient for all County Departments to evaluate These items will be used for evaluation purposes and will not be returned to the bidder unless otherwise agreed to prior to sample submission. The evaluation of these products will be made by the user departments based on trials, product review, or experience. 10. PROPOSAL PAGES Bid will be rejected if the following is not adhered to: For all product lines being bid, every box for that product, on the proposal page must be filled in with the appropriate information The Manufacture Name, Brand Name, Manufacture Product Code and Packaging Columns must be filled in. 11. TERM OF CONTRACT The term of the contract shall be for one year with an option to renew for two additional six (6) month terms. 12. INVOICES Invoices shall list the product description, product number, packaging details, quantity purchased, unit price and extended price Purchase Order Number shall be listed on the invoice. 13. AWARD Award will be made on a line by line basis to the lowest responsible bidder that has supplied and met all bid requirements. Group awards, where indicated, shall be awarded as a group to the overall low bidder that has supplied and met all bid requirements The County of Rockland reserves the right to make a no award on a line by line basis. Any alterations to this document made by the Offeror may be grounds for rejection of the proposal, cancellation of any subsequent award, or any legal remedies available to the County of Rockland.
