1 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Refer to HPUK General Requirements VCP for lining stamp, swing tickets, shoe boxes, restricted substances, packing lists, WWW carton labels and carton requirements. 2. UPC/SKU/PRICE LABELS 2.1 SHOE LABELS WWW Shoe Labels - supplied by Avery Dennison. A self adhesive label must be attached neatly and centrally to the sole in the waist of each shoe (or as near to the waist as the label size will allow) (See Figure 1). Where the sole material is not suitable for adhesive labels these labels are to be attached neatly to the quarter lining of each shoe. 2 2.2 SHOE BOX LABELS WWW Shoe Box Label supplied by Avery Dennison. A box end label must be affixed to one end only of each shoe box at the bottom right hand corner as shown in Figure 2. It is essential the lid of the shoe box is placed with the Hush Puppies logo opposite the WWW shoe box label as shown in Figure 2. The label must be positioned in such a way that the lid does not cover any part of the label. The UK size refers to the size the shoes have been ordered on the Purchase Order. Other sizes shown are conversions. Some labels may be produced without a line drawing. These should be used unless otherwise advised by HPUK Merchandising. 3 2.2.2 Customer Shoe Box Label - Supplied by HP Customer Services Paris. A box end label must be affixed to one end only of each shoe box (same end as the WWW shoe box label) at right hand corner just above the WWW shoe box label as shown in Figure 3. It is essential the lid of the shoe box is placed with the Hush Puppies logo opposite the WWW shoe box label as shown in Figure 3. The label must be positioned in such a way that the lid does not cover any part of the label Customer shoe box label Figure 3 (Example only) Shoe Box processing Do not use elastic bands to secure the shoe box lids. 4 3. CARTON LABELS WWW CARTON/CASE (LPN) LABELS A WWW carton/case (LPN) label to be attached to all cartons supplied by HP Customer Services Paris. Refer to HPUK General Requirements VCP for instructions on WWW carton labels. CUSTOMER CARTON LABELS supplied by HP Customer Services Paris. 5 3.2 CUSTOMER CARTON LABELS Continued Carton labels should be placed centrally on the side of the carton as shown in Figure 5. Each carton label is specific to one order. PACKING CARTONS The following carton sizes are acceptable (External Dimensions):- L* W* D* BDCM1 600 x 300 x 400mm BDCM2 400 x 300 x 400mm BDCM3 600 x 300 x 200mm BDCM4 400 x 300 x 200mm Maximum carton size is 600 x 400 x 400mm (External Dimensions). Carton Label placed centrally on the side of carton All cartons to contain the same style and colour. Do mix style and colour in the same carton. Shoe boxes should be packed so customer labels are visible once the cartons are opened. Cartons should not exceed 15.0kg gross filled weight. Cartons should be H shape sealed top and bottom with self adhesive tape at least 50mm wide (as figure 5). The joint in the carton must be glued, NO staples to be used. (See example in Fig 6) Banding is not permitted on cartons.
