4 1.1 Make the pipe by yourself If make the pipes by yourself, you will need to order the pipe welding machine. Machine: ZG30A / ZG30B ZG30A pipe welding machine You can buy the SS strips to weld the pipes by yourself. (Nowdays, most of heater factories will by pipes directly from pipes factory, if buy pipes from pipes factory, pls ignore this steps and machines. 1.2 Straighten the pipe (check require or not according to your production) After welded the pipe, if the pipe not very straight, may need to straighten the pipe. 4

5 Machine: TZ-3B Straighten Machine 2. Cut the pipe according to the length need (check require or not according to your production) After weld the pipes, or buy the pipes directly from pipes factory, if the pipes longer than the length need, use pipe cutting machine to cut to the length need. (If order right length from pipes factory, do not need this step and related machines. ) Machines: CT-15, CT-30 or ZCT-40 PLC pipe cutting machine CT-15 / CT-30 pipe cutting machine CT-15 and CT-30 are semi-auto pipe cutting machine. The difference between CT-15 and CT-30 is the max diameter to cut. CT-15 max diameter is φ 15mm, and CT-30 is φ 30mm. 5

8 1. Coil resistance wire into spiral shape RS328B or RS328 PLC resistance wire winding machine RS 328B and RS328 PLC is similar. They are both popular resistance wire winding machine for many home appliances heaters production. RS328B is controlled by coder and electronic counter, while RS328 PLC is controlled by coder and PLC touch screen. For example, if you use RS328B to wind a 200Ω, you do not know how long shall wind by RS328B, so you may try to wind 50mm long and test, if you find there are 100Ω,then you will wind double length to test again. If 100mm in 198Ω, then wind a little long to test. When the length wind in 200Ω, then you can set the length on the machine, and start in bulk production. However, if you use RS328 PLC, it will easily to do it, you just need to enter 200Ωon the machine, then when the length up to 200Ω,the machine will cut automatically. In bulk production, both RS328B and RS328 PLC are recommend check random to make sure the quality. 8

13 C. Filling Process Hang the assemble resistance spiral wire in the middle of the pipe, use filling machine to fill MGO powder into the space of the pipes. 13

14 There are 2 style of filling machine for tubular heaters: fast filling machine and FM filling machine. To fill different diameters, need to change filling accessories, or order one machine for one diameters. TLC-24 PLC filling machine Fast filling machine According to diameter and requirement, can make 12/16/24 pcs filling tube. 14

Fast filling machine is single guaranteed filling machine (one filling pipe), this style of filling machine with high productive efficiency, the speed of filling speed is fast, but filling density

15 Fast filling machine is single guaranteed filling machine (one filling pipe), this style of filling machine with high productive efficiency, the speed of filling speed is fast, but filling density will be not as high as FM filling machine. This filling machine suitable for heaters not need in high density, such as heaters for rice cooker. FM Filling Machine FM filling machine can make into double guaranteed or three guarantee (2 pcs filling pipe or 3 pcs filling pipe). This style machine similar as some international machines such as CSM. The filling speed a little lower than fast filling machine, but filling density can be higher than 2.35g/cm 3, and the resistance wire can keep in the middle. 15

If do not need in bulk, but several diameters, our FM filling machine can make 2-3 different diameters on one machine. For example, FM12 filling machine, fill diameter φ 8, 9.5 and 12mm, each diameter 4 pcs, total 3*4 = 12 pcs on one machine. (recommend fill one 16

17 diameter in one time, then filling density will be good. If fill different diameter in one time, when one diameter filled enough MGO powder, then the machine will stop filling, other diameter will be not enough power. ) This kind of filling machine suitable for long heaters filling, and need in several diameters, but do not need in bulk production. If need in bulk production, recommend one machine for one diameter. 17

18 D. Reducing After filling, reduce the heaters to increase the density. 1. 20 SG8A/SG8A1 For heaters shorter than 1 meters (diameters smaller than φ 9.5mm) SG8B For heaters diameters 8-12mm, length shorter than 2 meters; if diameters smaller than φ 8mm, 3 meters ok, if larger than φ 12mm, recommend length not longer than 2 meters SG12A1 Usually diameter smaller than φ 9.5mm, length shorter than 3 meters. SG12B For most tubular heaters are ok SG14B/SG16B If length longer than 3 meters, and diameter larger than φ 18mm, long time use, recommend use SG14B or SG16B. By these machines, the machines and rollers will be in long life. According to different diameter and output, roll reducing machine can match with hard alloy rollers ( tungsten carbide roller) and Cr12Mov roller. Hard alloy rollers wear resistant, and life usually longer than Cr12Mov rollers. While Cr12Mov rollers more economic. In large or small diameters, will recommend use Cr12Mov rollers. 20

If need to reduce different diameters, there are 3 ways to order: 1. order one machine for one diameter. When need to reduce different diameters, just choose related machines ok.

To reduce different diameters, just change related roll assemble. Efficiency a little lower than the 1 st way, but a little cheaper. (when order, pls advise need to change roll assemble) 3.

21 If need to reduce different diameters, there are 3 ways to order: 1. order one machine for one diameter. When need to reduce different diameters, just choose related machines ok. Suitable for bulk production, few diameters production. This one is the most high efficiency. 2. order one machine + related rollers with roll assemble. To reduce different diameters, just change related roll assemble. Efficiency a little lower than the 1 st way, but a little cheaper. (when order, pls advise need to change roll assemble) 3. order one machine + related rollers. When reduce different diameters, change related rollers. This will be a little lower efficiency than the above 2 ways. However, it is the most economic. Reducing machines for tubular heaters: SG8A SG8B 21

23 E. Trimming the end of heaters After reducing the heaters, trim the end of the heaters, to let the terminal pins out. According to diameter and length, can choose semi-auto roll turning machine or auto roll turning machine. (If length longer than 2 meters, recommend use semi-auto roll turning machine because for long heaters, if use auto one, terminal pins not easy to keep in the middle, then the machine will trim and cut the pines.) 23
