HEATING The system heats the rooms ensuring maximum comfort starting from the cooling power of the outdoor unit that is carried out and stored by the indoor unit Thron. 5. RECOVERY EXHAUST AIR Note that the stale air is always extracted from wet rooms like kitchen and bathroom, in this way the exhaust air is not extended throughout the house. The stale air is recovered, filtered out and passed through a heat exchanger where it gives its heat to the new air. In this process there is not air exchange, but heat exchange. The stale air is expelled outside after the process. 2. COOLING The system cools the environment and ensures maximum comfort thanks to the heat power of the external unit carried out and stored by the internal module of Thron. 6. FRESH AIR INTAKE The new incoming air is filtered in order to ensure an improvement of the health of the occupants. 3. HOT WATER The system heats and then maintains the sanitary water temperature thanks to the heat pump work operated by both the internal module Thron and by the outdoor unit. 7. CONTROL DUAL ZONE The system manages two different zone temperatures, Day and Night independently, to offer maximum comfort. This water is sent to the ventilation unit at the selected temperature, depending on the chosen mode HEATING or COOLING. At the same time the heat pump heats the sanitary water contained into the Domestic Water Tank. The ventilation unit (Octopus ) makes the water pass through a heat exchanger that is crossed by the air moved by the fans and this air, treated for cooling or for heating, is pushed towards the inside of the premises.before being pushed into the ducts the air is previously filtered from the VMC ensuring a clean flow into the environment; the extracted stale air is conducted outside. 5 High Efficiency Heat Pump THRON kw THRON uses air energy How does the heat pump work The air/water heat pump Thron uses the outside air as main heat source: its operating principle is to use a cooling cycle to transfer heat from a colder fluid, the outside air, to a hot fluid, the water of the heating system.the Thron heat pump, as a reversible type, allows the reversal of the refrigeration cycle in the summer season to expel the excess heat of the environment. The technology of heat pumps: high efficiency, ecology and comfort. Less waste In optimal operation for the heat pump, by storing hot water in the tank for ACS/ HDW at 41ºC, it is possible to get hot water at the temperature of 40ºC with only 1ºC temperature difference. This avoids waste of energy due to water mixing at different temperatures with water supply from the system. 3 showers consecutively The integrated large accumulator capacity in the internal unit of Thron allows the use of hot water up to 3 consecutive showers with no problem. Treated air to rooms 1 2 The Anti-Legionella System The big technical tank for ACS/HDW (1) allows to store water at high temperature; this makes it possible that the tapped water for domestic use will warm instantly thanks to the exchanger (2) integrated in heat pump. The stored technical water does not mix with the water system used for domestic use; it only produces a heat exchange. This ensures that the water used in the domestic circuit does not come from the storage tank and eliminates the risk of Legionella. Legionella are bacteria that can be formed in installations containing water at warm temperatures, between 20ºC and 50ºC, and that develop optimally between 35ºC and the 45 C, but do not survive above 60ºC.
