2 Some information about the process Short report about the collaborative consumption in Poland is a document that consist in results of preliminary research in Polish background. Material developed in November This document consist in material presented by the Polish partner during the 1st project meeting in Potenza Italy (31st October th November 2011) This project has been funded with support from the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme. 3 Preliminary research Bike sheering Cracow the city of bicycles Bike renting In 2008 the City of Krakow as a first city in Poland, started the free urban bicycle rental. The first phase of the project took over 13 stations and 100 bicycles, the second stage is an additional 3 stations: BikeOne, Krakow + and 20 bicycles obtained by a sponsor.. The project despite many fears of city officials, some media and community but finally became a success and is a part of the city landscape.

4 Gardens and Allotments in all cities of Poland. Polish Union of Allotment (PZD) is an independent, non-governmental and social organization. PZD has over 120 years tradition in Poland and has 965 thousands of members. All the lands that are subject to PZD (44 thousands of hectares ) are festinated to the allotments. The annual fee is obligatory and the membership in PZD is necessary to cultivate owns allotment. Family gardens goal to create opportunities for people to spend their time in a healthy, ecological way close to the environment. the allotment is not the owner of the land, but only its user - under the conditions specified in the law Act about family allotment gardens. ROD are a component of national green areas and recreational areas. They are also public facilities

5 Festival of Recycling in Cracow Once a year in Cracow there is organising a Recycling Festival During the days of festival in Błonie Park is possible to replace the wastes with the gadgets, seedlings of trees, shrubs and flowers or to exchange electrical wastes for energy-efficient bulbs. Examples: 30 bottles of PET- one gadget 20kg of wastepaper- 1 seedlings of trees, shrubs or flowers 50 old batteries- 1 energy-efficient bulb, etc During the days of the festival there are some accompanying events like : children, All activities are organise in the green area next to a huge public park in the city canter.
