Although many peo- ple think of growing succulents in mild, arid climates, there are actually a number of these wonderful plants that are hardy in cooler temperatures. In this presentation, Sylvia Elwyn will help you explore the world of succulents, with particular emphasis on those that are cold hardy in our area. Through lecture and slides, Sylvia will share her knowledge of suc- culent species and varieties, and how they can be used in home landscape design. She will also introduce tender suc- culents that can be grown in containers or used as annuals.
