We work closely with our owners to create and maintain wonderful holiday homes, where standards are kept high and guests are happy. Bobby Sharp owns and manages Pound Cottage and Annexe in Langport, Somerset, along with Hill House too. SAY HELLO TO Bobby I d dreamed of living in a thatched cottage since I was a child. It would be my haven to run to when the going got tough, with my family in tow. And so the dream came true. After years of hunting for the perfect place, my husband and I found Pound Cottage, in a quiet corner of Somerset. Built in the 15th century, the challenge to create a gorgeous, cosy holiday home became a very long labour of love. We took our time, gathered a small team of wonderful craftsmen and embraced the quirks of an ancient cottage and barn. If only you knew how much of a challenge a crooked wall can create. And we had many! It s all been so worth it. I m living the dream after all. We keep hold of an odd few days for myself and my family. The rest are there for our Mulberry guests, visiting from all over the world. Quintessential England has its draw for sure.
