2 Corporate Outing Wedding Setup Fund-raiser Polo Match Chukkar Farm Polo Club & Event Facility hosts an array of events and activities which draw a diverse attendance of many thousands of visitors to the farm each year. Whether to attend one of our wonderful concerts, Sunday Polo matches, a non-profit fund-raiser, corporate outing or wedding, attendees are surrounded by the charm and gorgeous surroundings which make up Chukkar Farm. Chukkar Farm Polo Club & Event Facility, established in 1980 by Jack Cashin and his wife Helen, has over 100 acres of pastures, woods, a river crossing, polo field and 26-acre lake. Originally begun as a teaching facility, Chukkar Farm has evolved into a First Class Event Facility offering a spectacular outdoor venue. James Casto Home by Dark Concert Helen & Jack Cashin Jack Cashin, creator of Chukkar Farm Polo Club & Event Facility was the oldest active polo player in the U.S., when he was 88 and still playing. He is a serial entrepreneur and creator of many commercial enterprises including a chain of restarurants in metro Atlanta known as Cashin s. He ran as a Libertarian candidate for the U.S. Senate in 1996 and Governor in As a passionate supporter of the arts, Jack is excited to develop Cashin s Sculpture Garden on the Chukkar Farm property.
3 Cashin s Sculpture Garden The strong visitor roster Chukkar Farm appreciates is the basis for our new offering of Cashin s Sculpture Garden. The installation of the Sculpture Garden will be along an existing horseriding trail, gently meandering through nature s cathedral in a spectacular woodland area populated with a variety of hardwoods. The sun dapples through the leaves and sets the stage for wonderment. Mission Cashin s Sculpture Garden is committed to connecting art and nature to people s perception of sculpture. Its aim is to present the public with a variety of engrossing exhibits, programming, classes, projects, and events. The garden will create artistic and intellectual opportunities for artists and the public. It will also provide an experience of collaboration and reflection to enhance public awareness of the value of the arts and promote an experience of cultural activities which nurture the human spirit and contribute to the community. Vision Blending art into the natural landscape in a way which allows each piece to be dominant in its surroundings.
