The Tennessee Roadscapes grant program provides funding for roadside landscaping on TDOT right-of way. Through Tennessee Roadscapes, TDOT partners with city, county and community organizations for environmentally friendly landscaping projects along interstates and highways throughout the state. Well-planned landscaping programs create inviting spaces that boost our economy and improve our quality of life. These programs help attract tourists, new residents and new businesses. They create welcoming places where people live and work. They build a sense of pride in local communities. Naturalized landscapes keep maintenance costs down. Project Background Partners TN. Department of Transportation, Cleveland Utilities, and City of Cleveland Main Gateway off of I-75 into Cleveland 1250 feet long, 20 feet average width on TN. State Route 60 Grass lined ditch with average depth of 3 feet - mowed every 2 weeks by City Design and construction done by in-house staff - City of Cleveland Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments TDOT Design Regulations 4
