5 The M24: system components A Keypads for M24 The easy-to-use keypad with group omitting function provides a clear overview of the conditions in individual protection sectors. The LCD version also allows for complex operating and basic programming procedures. It provides a clear plain text display of all results. Its scrambling code system provides maximum security in data transmission. The ergonomic keyboard allows you to control various building control functions directly from the proximity reader. The IK 3 operating module can be used to conveniently arm/disarm the system. Moreover, the keyboard can be used to execute up to 100 programmable functions. Hold-up button The hold-up button discreetly and directly notifies intervention squads in the event of an emergency, so is installed in easy-to-reach places. To avoid obstruction, the hold-up button features a reliable tamper switch. C Seismic detector The seismic detector monitors safes, armoured safes and concrete walls. It detects mechanical oscillations such as vibrations, converts these into electrical signals and triggers an alarm when necessary. Viewguard The Viewguard product series is a comprehensive range of motion detectors featuring a consistent design. The only difference in appearance between the PIR and the DUAL motion detectors with integrated microwave unit is their size. C Optical smoke detector S-3000 Integrating smoke detectors to the US-1 system of the intrusion detection control panel is an important feature of forwardlooking intrusion protection systems.
