3 Important information The retrofit kit is for use within the BMW dealership organisation only. Target group The target group for these installation instructions is specialist personnel trained on BMW cars with specialist knowledge of vehicle electrical systems. Work: All servicing, repair and installation work on BMW cars is completed at your own risk. All work must be completed using the latest BMW repair manuals and circuit diagrams in a rational order using the prescribed tools (special tools) and observing current health and safety regulations. To install and connect the aerial booster in the E46//4 Cars with SA 66/66/66/66 only Bolt the aerial booster () to the hands-free control module holder () using hexagonal nuts () Z Open the standard aerial cable () and X plug connector and remove the aerial resistor () (no longer required). X Z X X765 Connect plugs X and X765 on the telephone wiring harness and plug () on the standard aerial cable to the aerial booster (). Install the hands-free control module again. To install and connect the aerial booster in the E46/5 Place speed nuts () on the left of the boot Z Bolt the retaining plate () to the rear left of the boot using hexagonal screws () Z Open the standard aerial cable () and X plug connector and remove the aerial resistor () (no longer required).
