2 GENERAL INFORMATION WHU water heater, producing hot water or steam, is ideal in demanding cleaning tasks. High water temperature greatly enhances impact effect and scouring capacity of water jets. The unit is to be connected to pressure line of a HPW high pressure pump. Escpecially intended for mobile use, oil fired WHU unit runs connected to on-board electric system of a motor vehicle. WHU water heating unit comprises of: * Oil-fired boiler with heating coil * Fuel pump and fan assembly * Oil burner with torch controller * Control equipment, including: * Flow and pressure switches * Adjustable thermostat * Fuel temperature limiter * Overflow valve HEATING POWER MAX. 3 INSTALLATION WHU water heating unit is to be installed on a steady horisontal plane. It must be attached carefully with bolts or screws through the 13 mm holes in the unit base. Exhaust fumes are led to open air with the extension part attached to the heater exhaust pipe. WHU water heater is connected to water line as follows: 1. HPW High pressure pump pressure line is connected to the WHU inflow line. DRAIN 2. The washing equiment line is connected to WHU pressure line. 3. 4 INSTALLATION Fuel lines are to be connected to fuel pump according the markings on the pump INLET OUTLET TO FUEL TANK NOTE!!! Fuel line connector and seal are not included and should be ordered separately. NOTE!!! Fuel inlet line must be equipped with a fuel filter.

5 OPERATING THE UNIT Before operating the water heating unit, check all fuel, water and electric connections! 1. With the vehicle motor running, turn the inverter on from the ON/OFF switch 2. Turn the control center power on by turning the thermostat dial from 0 to desired water temperature 3. Water heater starts running when the water inlet is opened. The WHU unit is acivated by opening the outlet line (for example by opening the solenoid valve or squeezing the washing pistol trigger). When the water flow stops, the unit goes to standby. Timer controlled pre-ventilation (fan motor 7.1 switched on) 2. Pre-ignition and flame generation (ignition unit 8 and fuel pump 7.2 on) 3. Flame control during operation (photo resistor 9) 4. 10 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS The pressure of liquid circuit of the WHU water heating unit is very high. THEREFORE, CONDITION OF THE APPARATUS, ITS PARTS AND S MUST BE EXAMINED CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING! All connectors, valves, and lines/hoses must be properly connected, and their condition must be checked on a regular basis. Possible leakages in water or fuel connections must be repaired immediately to avoid injuries to operator, caused by high pressure and hot leakage. In order to avoid accidents, the water heating unit should not be cleaned or inspected when the liquid circuit is pressurised. Prior to cleaning, inspection or maintenance, the work machine hydraulics must be stopped and the pressure in WHU liquid circuits and tools must be released, for example by discharging the washing pistol. When operating the WHU water heating unit, the operator must wear appropriate safety clothing, goggles, and gloves. When in operation, WHU parts in touch with water are hot. The WHU water heating unit may be maintained and repaired only by a Dynaset approved person with applicable training and work experience. WARRANTY Dynaset products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of purchase. Excluded are parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as seals and other parts that become worn through normal use of the unit. The warranty only includes parts needed in repairing. Shipping costs of replacement parts, cost of repair work, or travelling expenses are not included in the warranty. Warranty is void if the product has been modified, provided with parts other than original, or misused.
