2 Vivekanand 1 at a glance The Vivekanand 1 is the first in a series of three Le Tourneau 116e rigs being built for Foresight Drilling by the Chinese yard COSCO near Beijing. As well as being built to a recognised and successful design, these new rigs incorporate the latest technology to optimise efficiency, reliability and performance. All the key equipment (summarised below) has been sourced from recognised leaders in their field from either the USA or Europe. Type: Le Tourneau 116e [Any identifiable - picture anywhere in this doc - of a rig needs to be of a 116E...] Built: Will enter service March 2015 Flag: Panama Quality: Our rigs comply with MODU code requirements, as well as with ISM (International Safety Management Code), ISPS (International Safety Management Code), SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), MARPOL (Maritime Pollution), IMO (International Maritime Organisation), COLREG (Collision Regulations), Load Line Conventions and the international Conventions of Tonnage measurement of ships. 2

Accommodation: 120 personnel with offices, meeting room, treatment room, and prayer room. Power: five Caterpillar 3516C HD 2150BHP units. Electrical power is provided by six Kato 600VAC 1920KW generators Helideck (dimensions): rated for Sikorsky S61N the Russian M18 and Sikorsky S92 helicopters, with an associated helicopter waiting room. 3

5 Key features Well Control There are two BOPs A 13 5/8 10,000PSI H2S rated and a 21 1/4 5,000PSI H2S rated. Both are (manufacturer and model). The diverter system is GE KFDJ-500. The choke and kill (manufacturer) manifold is 15,000PSI and H2S rated. Safety The rig has a fully automated fire and gas detection system from Autronica together with Tyco fire suppression systems in the engine room, emergency generator room, paint locker and galley. Firefighting equipment is compliant with (who?). There is lifeboat and liferaft capacity for 200%+ of maximum accommodation. Main Drilling Features All the primary drilling equipment is Lewco, with a Lewco TD750V2 750tonne capacity top drive and LDW1500K1001:1500KIPS draw works. The rotary table is Lewco L-495:1100HP and the three mud pumps Lewco W-2215; 7500PSI WP. Pipe Handling The derrick is a Loadmaster 170x35x32ft 1500KIPS with two set back areas with capacity for 308 stands of 5 7/8. The iron roughneck is a Cameron JIM-10 that can handle pipe between 3 1/2 and 10 inches. There is 357sq m of tubular storage space. Mud There are three Lewco W-2215; 7500PSI mud pumps together with five Derrick elliptical shale shakers (need model and capacity). The mud conditioner, vacuum degassers (2) and mud pits (15) are all Derrick manufacture. Bulk Storage The seven bulk storage tanks have a m 3 (12,040 ft3) capacity Services The rig has three cranes - two Le Tourneau PCM120 (120ft boom) rated at 25ft and one Le Tourneau PCM220 (140 ft boom) rated at 39ft. Main engine power is provided by five Caterpillar 3516C HD 2150BHP units. Electrical power is provided by six Kato 600VAC 1920KW generators. The aluminium helideck (dimensions) is rated for Sikorsky S61N the Russian M18 and Sikorsky S92 helicopters. The accommodation unit has an associated helicopter waiting room. Accommodation Accommodation is available for up to 120 personnel in 1, 2 and 4 man cabins. The accommodation block is fully equipped with offices, meeting room, treatment room, and prayer room. 5
