5 UPCOMING EVENT Advanced Training Workshop for Soil Evaluators sponsored by Berkshire Conservation District, Tri-Town Health, and Berkshire Community College Describing, Documenting, and Interpreting Complex Soil Conditions in Deep Holes Workshop #T Presented by: Peter C. Fletcher, Certified Professional Soil Scientist and Soil Evaluator This course is designed for professionals who are Certified Soil Evaluators. The focus of the course is on documenting and interpreting soil conditions within deep observation holes located in areas with varied soil/geologic conditions. Prior to going into the field, participants will be given instruction on how to access available reference materials for the field sites. Participants will work as individuals or in small groups, and will complete Massachusetts Dept of Environmental Protection, Form 11 - Soil Suitability Assessment for On- Site Sewage Disposal for each of the deep holes.
