2 Conditions and Requirements for Exhibiting Exhibitors should name varieties where possible, especially camellias. Exhibits not staged according to schedule are liable to be disqualified. No artificial support or wiring of blooms allowed except in arranged work. Own foliage permitted in all exhibits. N.N.D. means not necessarily different. C.V.A. means colour variation allowed. S.S. means staged singly. Judging is in accordance with Australian Horticultural Judges Association rules and will be judged by AHJA accredited judges, except for Floral Art which will be judged in accordance with the Australian Floral Art Association rules by an accredited Floral Art judge. All exhibits to be grown by exhibitors except in the Floral Art section. Please notify if your exhibit is extra large. The Society will not be responsible for any loss or damage. Mixed flowers to contain not less than three kinds. A container may contain any number of stems. For this Show, a Novice is one who has never won a Blue Ribbon AT ALL in any Section and who has not won more than three first prizes in any Horticultural Show for that Section. Pot Plants to have been in the possession of the exhibitor for at least two (2) calendar months. Pot plants may be staked. Saucers permitted but not compulsory. Not more than three (3) entries to be submitted in any one item by one exhibitor. Photos of exhibits and/or exhibitors may be taken for promotional purposes, by entering you agree to allow this to occur. 8 SHOW OFF YOUR BEST - SCHOOLS Best Exhibit: Blue Ribbon The Diggers Perpetual Trophy and Purple Ribbon will be awarded to the most successful school. First prizes are awarded 2 points and second prizes are awarded 1 point. The Trophy will be held by the winning school for one year, prior to being returned for next year s competition. In addition the first prize winner in item 5 will win $500 and the second prize winner in item 5 will win $250. (See separate sheets for full details for this section) 1.
