2 Conditions and Requirements for Exhibiting No fee payable when entering your exhibits, however the event will be ticketed and entry to the Flower Show will be by presentation of a paid ticket only. Exhibitors should name varieties where possible, especially roses. Exhibits not staged according to the schedule are liable to be disqualified. No artificial support or wiring of blooms allowed except in arranged work. Own foliage permitted in all exhibits. N.N.D. means not necessarily different. C.V.A. means colour variation allowed. S.S. means staged singly. Judging is in accordance with Australian Horticultural Judges Association rules and will be judged by AHJA accredited judges, except for Floral Art & Interclub which will be judged in accordance with the Australian Floral Art Association rules by an accredited Floral Art judge. All general exhibits must be grown by the exhibitor in their own garden. However materials can be purchased for use in the Public Choice, Garden Art, Interclub and Floral Art sections. Please notify the show manager if your exhibit is extra large. The Society will not be responsible for any loss or damage. Mixed flowers to contain not less than three varieties. A container may contain any number of stems, except where otherwise specified. For this Show, a Novice is one who has never won a Blue Ribbon AT ALL in any Section and who has not won more than three first prizes in any Horticultural Show for that Section. Pot Plants to have been in the possession of the exhibitor for at least two (2) calendar months. Pot plants may be staked. Saucers permitted but not compulsory. Not more than three (3) entries to be submitted in any one item by one exhibitor. Photos of exhibits and/or exhibitors may be taken for promotional purposes, by entering the show you agree to allow this to occur. Christmas Time Enter as an individual or in a team, bring along your own table (less than 860mm diameter) and decorate it as you like, horticultural materials must be included. Public Choice determines the winner. GARDEN ART NEW SECTION Best Exhibit: Green Ribbon 14. A Design for the Outdoor The garden setting of this show lends itself to additional decoration. There are poles, trellis and bridges galore which you could enhance with your floral decoration. Or bring along your own pot on a plinth or sculpture to display. When entering please specify what type of outdoor design you are doing so that we can allocate you a spot. Please also advise the dimensions of your exhibit. Winner determined by a panel of judges. Outdoor Garden Installation The grassy lawns of the garden setting of the show will enable clubs to give free range to their ideas.
