8 Avenue Road Ramp - Draft Palette of Materials Arcadis, February 2018 Material\Charachteristics Bollards Ramp Surface Removable cast iron bollards (hexagonal) to match The Green Park / St. James's Park Bollards. Colour invisible green. Middle Grey exposed aggregate concrete (similar to CRT ramp west of Islington Tunnel) Handrails Retaining Wall and Gabion Style Covers Cast iron railing, matching the proposed estate rail being put forward at Cumberland Basin, colour "invisible green" Invisible slim-line concrete structure situated under the gabion cover (see below), precast, reinforced L-shape module TRP METALWORK: Invisible Green for Bollards and Railings Gabion style metal covers including - crushed brick stock (to match yellow bridge brick) - compost - native woodland seeding Steps Similar exposed aggregate concrete as ramp to be used, but with non-slip slot cast into step (visual and tactile) on top and front edge of steps.
