After 25 years of continuous development it is currently possible to divide the production programme at ARTGLASS Ltd. into three branches: firstly, the production of traditional Czech crystal chandeliers we are a proud foliower of more than 500 years of tradition in chandelier production in the Czech Republic; secondly, custom lighting lighting projects for private residences, religious buildings (churches, temples, mosques), restaurants, hotels, etc. We offer our clients a comprehensive solution for lighting, from the design and consultation phase through to advice and assembly. 7 ARTGLASS AT DESIGNBLOK 2018 This year, we participated for the first time in the Designblok, Prague International Design Festival, the largest selection of design and fashion shows in Central Europe. Designblok is annually attended by over 200 exhibitors in the main area of Designblok, which consists of Superstudio, Openstudio and Art House. Our stand at Superstudio showed the link between tradition, craft and innovation. Our new designs from the VISION catalog, special Manhattan, Luminis and Crack installations, were complemented by new design piece inspired by the traditional Maria Therese design of chandeliers. This lighting fixture, we called Zephyr, portraits the bells in the wind and it is a fresh combination of tradition and craft from the point of view of a modern designer. Newsletter 09 7
