Wood must be smooth enough not to cause splinters and a clear coat applied to make it cleanable. Discuss with Eric Thomas. Some stores that have very short front lines may be approved to use reclaimed wood or Macchiato Walnut for all the cabinetry; please discuss with Eric.

3. Furniture We have two options for chairs.

The lower-cost CSP metal chair matches our dining bar stools. Both chairs are available through Boelter. Others are not allowed without prior approval. 7 Ceiling Clouds: Ceiling clouds are built and installed by your contractor to specs available from the D&B web site. Decals are available from United Sign and Graphics (see contact info above) or you can download graphics and source locally. Menu Board: Menu boards are ordered from Light- Works, after a discussion with Eric Thomas. The order form is available on the D&B web site. Contact Eric with questions. Small Signage and other Trade Dress: To complete your trade dress orders, a number of small signs and other items will be purchased through ASB, including: The Line Starts Here dangler Rest room signage Open/closed sign Store hours sign Poster frame Cake book Gift card display Drink/ice cream cup size displays Community Board Header (to be placed above a bulletin board, sourced locally) 10. Woody murals Shop murals must be designed by Ben & Jerry s; contact Claudette Miner in Franchise Marketing for information (x2676). You can add ¾ birch plywood cutouts of the cows for a 3-D effect. Typically you will have a custom mural designed for your shop that showcases local landmarks or themes, a great way to connect your shop to the local community. Claudette can explain the program, and she will send you a form to fill out. A design template will ultimately be sent to you for your muralist to use when painting the mural on the wall of your shop.
