The job box is heavy and won t be moved or stolen easily. The house would be delivered on site and put together. The interior of the house is related to a fine wood tool box. Everything has a place and can be open and closed. There is a simple organization that centers around the spines. Both spines act as the circulation with the unites attaching to the central spine. Shipping the project is important. The design can be broken down to fit onto three semi-tractor trailer. Decking and everything else will ship either inside or in the open spots around the units. 5 The House is made up of 6 different kit of parts. There are two spine pieces, a living open space, and a programed secondary space. The flexibility and expansion of this house is a major selling point of this house. This house can not only be entered in the Solar Decathlon, but it can also be expanded and be flexible to meet the needs of anyone.

Bedroom Casework: Bed folds down from the sides up to create a coach and down to create the bed. Light Bright This is a point source lighting fixture that allows the user maximum flexibility for task lighting. The fixture is made of a housing that contains 3 LED bulbs and a frosted plastic lens cover. Connecting the light bright to the fixture will be with a twist lock connection. The general lighting for the project produces an average light level of approximately 30 footcandles while the Light Bright task lighting adds 25 footcandles for a total light level of about 55 footcandles on the work surface.

The clerestory windows are 5 panels of PV glass producing 50 watts per panel for a total of 252 watts.
