2 The Gallway Street Landscape Design Intent: The overall planting design intent: is to be a native, resilient, sub-tropical collection of species. The arrangement to the front entry space will be lush and shade tolerant, whereas the side and rear arrangements will soften the scale of the building height with tall columnar type species (Eleaocarpus sp) to buffer the proposed building mass. As per the Landscape Code the side and rear Site Boundaries will feature native Eleaocarpus sp, Syzygium hedges coupled with additional columnar trees. Mass planting of Trachelospermum sp, Liriope sp, Phyladendron xanadu, Cordyline sp, and Hymenocalis littoralis will fill the garden beds with lush foliage. Species will be majority native, therefore resilient and requiring minimal water and maintenance. Deep Planting areas: m or.% of the site will be provided as deep planting. Deep planting areas are a minimum m, are 00% open to the sky and are easily accessed for maintenance. Where the Deep Planting areas occur above the volumetric easements, localised garden mounding will be utilised with sufficient root barier to this area. Street frontage fencing: will be a contemporary batten low maintenance fence with partial transparency along the street frontage to ensure good passive surveillance is maintained. Side and Rear fences will be 00mm ht screen fences to neighbouring properties. Hardstand: treatments will aim to sit-back through the use of exposed aggregate grey concrete, unit pavers in the entry space and the same pavers will bleed out into the rear communal area, and as steppers in the rear deep planting garden. All hardstand areas will be purposefully drained toward garden beds to assist in capturing runoff and reducing watering requirements. N Site Locality Plan Not to Scale REF: 0-CD-L0.0
