Outer diameter 28 mm, wall thickness 1.5 mm Heat output tested according to DIN EN T2/2003, examining institution: HKL Stuttgart GmbH, report nr.: H.0502.P269 Folding resistance tested according to DIN T3 Operating pressure with standard design: 6 bars, with special designs on request: max. 20 bars. Number of suspension points: per modules = front and end of axis 375 mm, in other cases by every 1750 mm [in module dimensions do not match, proper joints are needed, see page 6] (e.g.: module 6 m long = 1x375 + (3x1750) + remaining length 375 mm = 4 axis x 9 modules x 3 points = 108 suspension points) ABACUS-ENERGO/EE CEILING-MOUNTED HEATER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS The following pages describe the proper and time-saving installation of our ceiling mounted heaters. (Abbreviation: CMH = CEILING-MOUNTED HEATER) Step 1 Determination of suspension points on the ceiling (according to static requirements and cross tubes of CMH). The location of suspension points are specified in the drawing relating to the project. Pull the suspension wires in the lower part of the suspension units. Mount the suspension units on the ceiling (concrete = dowel, trapezoidal sheet = 6 mm bores) Adjust the lower part of the suspension units to the exact suspension height of the CMH (using of construction laser is recommended) Cut the redundant part of the suspension wires. Raise the CMH, slide the clamps on the cross-tubes and secure it to the lower part of the suspension units using screws and M5 nuts.

5 Step 2 Adjust the sheet row and connect them permanently by pressing or welding. Make sure that tube ends are connected tightly. The intermediate area of installation can only be covered completely this way with the supplied cover sheets. (Use short press fittings.) ABACUS or MAPRESS sleeves are recommended to be used. These were tested thoroughly. Perform pressure test after pressing/welding is completed (8 bars). Step 3 Mount the endboxes. Slide the endboxes on the front side onto the CMH, and rivet them on the side panels using blind rivets. Option 1: Connect the register connection made from two high-grade steel circular pipes to the connection sleeves of the CMH. Option 2: Connect the water amount regulating and shut-off unit to the connection sleeves and the high-grade steel circular pipes using the connection screws. After installing the CMH system, check the setting of the volume flow rate regulator, and set the exact flow values according to the calculated values. ( Inlet = ball valve, Return = volume flow rate regulator + ball valve) Connection sequence: Inlet: register connection sleeve high-grade steel pipe - ball valve Return: register connection sleeve high-grade steel pipe - volume flow rate regulator - ball valve All the flare nuts should be retightened after one day (see Step 5).

6 Hemp is recommended for threaded connections. Do not use too much hemp. Do not apply excessive force when tightening the screws. Step 5 Fill the CMH-s with water to check leakproofness. Set the test pressure in accordance with the static pressure of the heating appliance. After the pressure test and the checking of tightness, deaerate the CMH and the connection pipes. Refill the appliance to compensate pressure loss caused by deaeration. One day after filling, carefully retighten the screw connections. Attention: do not press the air in the main pipes to the CMH-s after filling (or else it should be flushed). Step 6 Mount the clutch panels to cover the pressing areas between the pipes and the segments. Hitch the clutch panels in the side panels from below, insert the grills crosswise from above, connect the clutch panel and the grill using the screws and M6 nuts supplied. Screw the bottom parts to the upper part of the side panels. Attention: Transparent protection films should be removed from the cover sheets, if present. Step 7 Install heat insulation from above as a cover. The collector has to be prepared only twice per line.
